Well, started by looking for the time the restaurant was going to be open, it says 9:00am. I did arrived on or about 8:45am, and when I look at the sign in the window it said the restaurant was going to open at 9:30am. So I waited untill 9:30am, no one open the door, I went towards the back entrance and the door was open, I went in, did not see anyone, and then one of the waitress came in and said that the restaurant was going to open at 10:30am. I said you must be kidding, the sign says 9:30an.I mentioned to her that they should changed the sign. So, I ask for the Perubian Breakfast, if I was going to wait, the waitress said they do not serve it anymore. I ask since when and she replied, since about three weeks ago. Oh, my gosh! I could not believed, what I was hearing. So, my wife and I left and went to another restaurant it was mothers day. Its like you talk to the people that work there, and they do not care. I wonder if the owner knows how much bussiness he is loosing because he have individuals working for him that do not give two cents.

quaint little Peruvian restaurant with plenty of authentic dishes to try. First off I would like to mention that every Thursday there is an authentic Peruvian band playing for your enjoyment. It can get packed but they do not take reservations. The anticuchos starter is wonderful, right next to the ceviche mix starter (be sure to add the dried corn to the ceviche for some extra flavor). I had the roasted chicken as the main dish which was wonderful (moist and well seasoned). The service was wonderful but the food may take some time to come. Be sure to get a glass of pisco sour while you wait, it is delicious. If you do not drink alcohol, try the chicha it is just as tasty. Would definitely come back on any day of the week.

I have been to this restaurant on many occasions but tonight was the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. Near the end of the meal our table ordered a plate of salchipapa and, to our surprise, there was a roach among the fries and hot dogs. When we brought this to the attention of the employees they took the plate and came back a few minutes later and had the nerve to to say that it was not a roach. There were ten of us in our group and all of us could clearly tell that it was a roach. Finding a roach in the food is one thing, but denying it and lying to a customer is something else. I am never going there again. Whoever goes to Los Andes after reading this does so at their own risk!

It wasnt evwn spicy when i asked it to be. I am very disappointed. This is the second time a problem has occured to me in this place.

On a rainy, cold day. We stopped at Los Ands LI-Peruvian Restaurant for lunch. We asked for cofee and they say they only had instant cofee, but at the end....they had none. We ordered parihuela and it took 45 minutes. Parihuela is a seafood soup, this one had a vinegar flavor and was heavy...too much flour. Very dissapointed.

La comida es mala y el servicio peor. No se compara en nada con su otro local Los Andes 2 en Patchogue. Ese si es bueno!

Interesting place to eat lunch. The items served to me and my friend appeared and tasted like authentic Peruvian food. I did not much like the selection of drinks, though. A can of sugary soda is not my idea of a good beverage to have with lunch.

I ordered a jalea personal to go. When I got home to enjoy it I was very disappointed. The food was overcooked and dry out. It was untasteful. It honestly looked like leftovers from the day before. I am done with that place!

The food was good. But the people that work there were not to proffecional. It look like they where hanging out by the counter area and the music was more for them and not the customer. Like I said food was okay

the best dish to order is pollo a la brasa or roast chicken, and seafood rice (chaufa de mariscos) is like fried chinese rice. The best is in queens if you want to travel, but its the next best on Long Island.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Long Island. The chicken is amazing and the fried rice is pretty tasty! Not better than the peruvian restaurants in queens but its closer to home
