We ordered fried rice, singapore mei fun, pepper steak, wonton soup, egg roll, seasame chicken. These are standard dishes of most all "chinese" restaurants. Well, one dish was WORSE then the other. Mei fun - taste like medicine and it was almost entirely noodles, void of meats and veggies, the baby corn in the sesame chicken had a foul taste, the fried rice was mushy and tasteless. the wonton was void of meat. The egg rolls tasted terrible. The pepper steak was almost entirely peppers. We ate here once before more than 5 years ago and it was bad then too. Well at least they are consistant!

I used to like long river when Alice owned it (the sister from Sun Lee Lou, and Doc Lee Lou [in levittown]). I recently heard that she sold the store and the food changed, but I figured it was close so wed try it. The sauce on the chicken and broccoli was horrid, the chicken was stiff, and the broccoli tasted like mashed potatoes, i put it in my mouth and it was like chocolate, it just melted away in my mouth, no texture whatsoever. Ridiculous that they still charge so much for such sub-par food.

I order from this place every time I decide to eat Chinese food.This last time the food was not that great.my egg drop wonton combo soup was overcooked and bland,ribs were not great either but the California rolls were good.I was shocked because food is good every time I order from them but not this last time.I will give them 1 more chance and if its bad again then they will loose my business.

This piece of garbage drove .2 miles to deliver food for me and i only had a $20 bill left after i paid for my food but this corncock looks in my wallet and refused to leave until i gave his tip. Plus, it made me even more upset that my delivery guy was white, not asain and also the food tasted like they took the dog off the stove before it was done being cooked.

Poor service as usual. Probably underpaid inexperienced staff who forget to bring drinks, gave me salad instead of soup, etc. Big portions but pre frozen food taste. I cant tell the sauce taste apart from canned supermarket sauce. I go with people who go there , but not by my choice. I prefer greek dinners or family own restaurants like big red tomato.

Good food and service. Always accommodating. Twice we have made an error on an order placed via the web - each time they quickly and pleasantly resolved the issue. Also appreciate their support for school activities during fund raising! Shop local!

Long River has very cheap meats and its kind of scary looking at what its held and cooked in. Definitely not the best Chinese food around. And is still expensive at that.

Nice neighborhood Chinese/Japanese place. Also has Thai curry dishes. Food is really tasty, prices reasonable, very relaxed and very clean.
