Rock Garden Cafe is a gem in Watertown. In a sea of pizzerias and sports bars, the Rock Garden offers something different. Its flavorful menu chock full of mouth watering favorites combined with a fun and relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect place to enjoy a meal or kick back and relax. The Staff at the Rock Garden are so warm and inviting you cant help but smile. The owner, Tony, comes to every table and greets his guests to ensure that they are receiving the best experience that he and his staff can offer. You wont find a more passionate and caring owner than Tony. He really puts his all into his restaurant and its easy to see with so many regulars that come week after week. Food portions are well above the average but make no mistake. The quality of food that comes out of the kitchen matches the quantity. As for the bar.... You can expect to be treated very well and served with a smile from master mixologist Jeff. Drinks are very tasty and never watered down. The great feature to the bar is that there is something for everyone to enjoy. So if youre a craft beer enthusiast or looking for something on the wild side like a tiramasu martini, its all there. More than just food and beverages, this quaint little Main Street watering hole offers entertainment in many forms throughout the week. From Trivia Tuesday and JukeBox Bingo on Wednesdays to live entertainment on the weekends, theres something for everyone to enjoy. So whether youre a permanent resident of Watertown or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to stop by the Rock Garden and treat yourself to a one of a kind experience. Simply put, the Rock Garden just ROCKS!

This place seems to be all the buzz lately in the area. All these check ins and chat at the gym. Apparently I was missing out on some kind of hidden gem...and Im all about uncovering hidden gems. So this past Friday the wifey and I and a friend decided to dip our toes in. And by dip our toes in I mean drinks and an appetizer. Spoiler alert...it went well. It was about 6:30 on a Friday night, and we were greeted at the door by a nice gent who told us it would be just a couple minutes for a table. It was almost exactly just a couple minutes and we were seated at a kind of community table in the middle of the dining room. Atmosphere seemed pretty laid back, typical local joint. Even with a pretty packed bar, we had no trouble having a conversation without raising our voices. Server came over quickly and took our drink order and asked if we wanted apps, which we did but were still undecided. By the time the drinks came, which again...was pretty quick given the crowd, we had decided to go with the Fried Zucchini and a Ceasar salad. Dipping our toes as it were. No issues with the timing of the food, and everything was delicious. Not that what we ordered could be considered indicative of the breadth of the menu, but sometimes its more about just seeing if a place is worth a second, more detailed look. This place definitely is. Its no secret that Im a big Triple Play guy, but I will say that it was nice to discover another local option thats not much farther away. If only for those nights that Triple Play gets a bit too..."sporty" for my tastes.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Ive been going here for many years. It has changed owners, but the food and service remain consistent. Tony, and DeeJay the current owners, genuinely care about the staff as well as the customers. They have things going on there every night of the week. When you walk in no matter what day it is, it feels like Friday. A place where you can leave your worries at the door, enjoy good food, drinks, atmosphere and service. I have utilized their pick up / delivery service as well and never disappointed. One of the best places to enjoy a nice time with family and friends and it doesnt hurt your wallet either. If I could give them 6 stars - I would!

The owner argued with me about "debit card limits" and forced me to buy another drink so he could avoid his "fees." After i drank another drink against my will for this man, i signed my tab and was on my way. The next morning I went to check my bank statment and he tacked an additional $5 to my card illegally and signed my name. Horrible service, and is creepy to women. Do not go!!! This place is bad

Owner was disrespectful. We had a reservation for party of 8 and told we had to leave by 8:30. Never apologized or looked for a way to fix his error. Also, he dresses as if he were doing yard work. His server was great and felt terrible. That owner just lost a lot of business because this party of 8 know a lot of people and word of month is going to cost him. NEVER, EVER HOING THERE AGAIN.

OK experience. Wish there was an easier entrance from the parking lot - instead I had to walk all the way around. The food was acceptable - not bad but nothing to rave about. It was actually pretty slow when we went for lunch, yet it took a long time for our food to be delivered...with 4 hungry kids, that was a bit annoying. Would I go again? Sure...but not on the top of the list.

Overpriced bar food served up with an attitude. We had to wait for a table despite many tables being open. It seemed that the host wanted us to think they were busy but we could see otherwise. Took forever to get menus, forever to get served and forever to get our check. Expensive for what they serve and food is greasy and salty. Staff has an attitude and its not a good one.

This a great place to eat and have a drink and hang out with family and friends also a great place to take the kids. They have a good selection of kids meals from grilled cheese to chicken fingers to pasta and fruit options instead of fries. Always enjoy myself and meal.

Terrible food and even worse service. Much of our food was mis-cooked with burgers over or under cooked. Female hostess must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed - heard her being rude to multiple parties and swearing at people. No thanks!

The food was ok the service was slow we were rushed to order but not to serve my chicken tenders we soggy and chewy the grilled was not grilled it was just a cheese sandwich the fries didnt taste right this was not the best lunch you could have

Went for dinner with the family and ate on the patio (read small sidewalk) everything was just great and aside from the area being a little small and the street noise. I think next time, there will be a next time, we will eat inside.

Happened upon this place randomly, ended up having a blast at trivia night with my wife. Servers made us feel right at home, food was great (shrimp scampi and wings) will definitely be back with friends.

Hangout place amongst the locals & students from The Taft School. Quality of food is surprisingly good & price is ok. Must try is the Pulled Pork sandwich & the Burger of the day.
