The food was okay, I definitely have had better. The waitress was nice and she was not the problem. The owner I guess it was his name Peter, was a MORON. NO SIGNS ANYWHERE THAT SAY CASH ONLY. So we go to pay, and he does not accept credit cards. I mentioned to him that there should be the courtesy of a sign for customers to be aware, he just shrugged me off, did not even reply. All he seemed to care about was getting paid. I feel bad for the staff cause it seems they all complain about his lack of customer service. I would NEVER go there again, NOR recommend it. As for other reply by Michael, who did not see that this was a big issue, is ridiculous. The fact that you have to walk out the establishment, go to the ATM and be charged a fee because it is NOT your bank is ridiculous. So do not care what he says.

We tried this place for the first time last week. We where told by friends it was great Greek food . But I was also told that it changed hands not too long ago , no matter as the food was un-eatable ! We ordered Saganki , it was so over cooked you could not bit into it ! ( thay microwaved it to heat it up, I am sure . It the garbage it went ! My wife had a chicken dish with a Greek salad , the chicken was so over cooked , you just could bit into the chicken , in the garbage it went . I had a pork dish that was eatable of all the food we received there only the pork was eatable everything else was discarded . If they are new owners they better get there act together . We will not be going back !

Great food with a casual and friendly atmosphere. I had a Gyro Platter and my boyfriend had a typical Gyro. The meat was very flavorful and the texture was perfect. The salad was full of Feta! I took home my mother a Spinach Pie which she said was great even upon reheat. The meals come with sides of veggies that are typical nothing extraordinary. One thing I was disappointed by was the yogurt sauce. It was not typical Taziki but just plain yogurt but it was still a great topping for the meat. Random but kids are coloring at the tables and their artwork hung on the walls.

I went in there today alone. I had a bunch of Drs appts and blood work that I had to fast for. I dont know either of the girls names who work there and Ive been going there for years. I was uptight and hungry. Both of them were friendly and accommodating as usual. I had my chicken gyro and read my book. Its easy to forget that you make gyros for a living and I was just another $8 customer. But that was my lunch that day and it was fantastic. That stupid gyro and the way those women treated me changed my day and Im grateful. Thanks girls......

Im not sure about the review above by Don Schojan since The Greek garden has not changed hands recently. I am a long time patron and their place has been owned by the same people for 15 years. Are you sure its the Greek Garden in Babylon Village you are talking about? I have to say I am shocked since I go their weekly and look forward to the service, the family atmosphere and mostly the food!! Excellent fresh Greek food. If you are looking for a cozy place to eat and relax go there. I think they are wonderful!!!

Fresh food is the key. Try their seafood platter with salmon shrimp and scallops over rice pilaf. OMG. just lemony and flavorful. Comes with a greek salad and warm pita. Fyi the olives in the salad are not pitted so dont crunch down too hard but other than that its a beautiful meal❤️

Overall I had a pretty good experience. The food was great, especially the stuffed grape leaves and the spinach pie(my favorites). Costumer service was fine, cant say I had any problems. I would definitely eat there again.

This is 2014, who doesnt accept cards? Hummus was tasteless. Tried to order a very famous Greek dish Skordalia...they knew what it was but didnt want to make it. Very pushy vibe.
