Wedded Bliss! My fiance and I chose Le Bouchon as our wedding reception after dining in there multiple times. I telephoned Michael (the manager) last year and asked if they could accommodate between 40 and 50 people and he simply said, we will make it work. Michael and Pascal (owner) were brilliant in helping us plan our menu, which included the most beautiful Hors doeuvres. We decided on delicious entrees and an open bar. The wine selection for the tables was perfect. BUT most impressive was the staffs ability to treat every guest with genuine hospitality. We had 40 friends and family, most out of town and out of the country and one week later, they are all still talking about the food, drink and staff. Words cannot describe how it felt to be able to hand over your most important day to someone else and know you will not have to worry about a thing. Thank you Brasserie Le Bouchon for your most excellent service. To the chefs... You are amazing. I am still not sure how every single meal came out perfect and on time. Nobody was left waiting or wanting. Perhaps we will celebrate our 40th anniversary there (LOL we will be in our 90s) but no doubt, this fine restaurant will still be standing. With love and admiration - Julie and Deb Wedding May 17th.

the food at Le Bouchon was excellent. however, the food servers were the worse I have experienced, EVER. we waited 30 minutes for the server to arrive at the table. then, after we ordered, the appetizers arrived WITH the entrees and the drinks arrived after we started eating our entrees. the waiters seemed to favor all the other tables around us. we again waiting for the wait staff to clear our plates and we were never offered coffee nor dessert! we had to flag down the waiters to even get our check. BTW, the restaurant was not busy. I have been to Paris many times and they are not as rude as these guys - dont waste your money on this place, go elsewhere and enjoy yourselves!

i dont understand how anyone can give any good reviews on this restaurant...we ordered a steak and trout dish...steak was overcooked, burnt at some edges, and the trout was not fresh and smelly. the prosciutto that wrapped around the trout was rubbery. food definetly was not fresh nor was it good. service was the worst part. be prepared to be treated like an out-of-towner here...the waiter gave us 2 options for seating, and was rude. i would highly discourage going to this restaurant. save your money and go somewhere else.

Went for dinner. Everything was really great... Loved the charming room, the friendly service, and delicious, unpretentious classic bistro dishes. The mixed grilled seafood was massive and perfect... One of the biggest octopus tentacles Ive ever been served.... With clods of garlic-parsley puree throughout. Were from nyc and this beats many of the bistros in the city. Really dont get the reviews complaining about service and excessive grease... We didnt have a problem with either.

It took almost an hour to get the duck confit on a busy June Saturday night. It arrived overcooked and dry. The 4-top near us returned their 2 orders of cold fries. Two groups had to get up and search for the waiter to pay the bill. The portions were tiny including the salad. The interior was warm and cozy. The waiter was not especially friendly but was ok considering how busy they were.

My wife and I both work a six-day week, are definitely "seniors," and look forward to those Sundays when we can go to Le Bouchon for a warm welcome, excellent cuisine (the mussels are superb!), friendly and efficient service and a relaxing atmosphere. We have a farmhouse in a small village in France and Le Bouchon reminds us of the wonderful restaurants we go to when were there.

Mac and cheese is delicious, probably the best Ive ever had. The rest of the food was good too, but the mac and cheese definitely stood out. Service was a bit slow, but it didnt take away from the experience at all. Last time we went they had bistro style seating outside, which was a nice option. I loved the eclectic decor, felt very New Orleans to me. Will definitely return!

The decor is quite "country" in tone but the food is perfectly sophisticated. All your French favorites are on the menu, cooked superbly. The menu is well-rounded and not too expansive. James helped us navigate our meal with obvious knowledge but no pretense. We had a wonderful meal and will be back often with friends.

Stopped here for lunch with my wife the other day and I was amazed at the quality and flavors of the food here. We will definitely be back. The waiter was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose what to order. I cant wait to go back to try more things on their menu. The soft shell crab appetizer is a must have.

Delicious food and excellent service! We had a beautiful dinner here on Valentines day in 2012, after we got married in Cold Spring. They knew we were there to celebrate and were so attentive and nice to us, despite it being the busiest night of the year. Service and food was excellent. I cant wait to go back.

We came here today for Mothers Day with no reservation and they kindly fit us in. What a great local place. Great staff, lovely atmosphere and really good food. My husband is French and the food was authentically delicious. Probably the best Moule Frites Ive had in America. Will definitely be going back.

This restaurant is truly exceptional. I always get an order of the mussels with pomme frites and a side salad. The portions are huge and I absolutely love bringing family and visitors from out of town to this quaint restaurant. Its a great atmosphere and has never disappointed.

Wonderful service and delicious food. The escargot, French onion soup, carpaccio and creme brulee were detectable. The steak tartare was good, but a bit heavy on the Worcestershire sauce. The bread is warm and crunchy. The drinks are generously poured. I adore Le Bouchon!

Food was eh, service was terrible - if you have to get up for salt because nobody is checking on you for 15 min, its bad - we had no water either so it was like a self service joint that pretends to be French - bouff!!

As a French guy, I can assure you: the food is delicious, waiters are very nice and the place is pretty nice. Big plus for the backyard with the fountain.Perfect if you want to taste French cuisine.

Steak sandwich, duck, sardine app, and onion soup were all spectacular. Want to take off a star for the slow service but the food was just too good. Just leave a lot of time for your meal.

Great French food and the server was very helpful. My wife and I got the shrimp special and it was no doubt very delicious as it had hints of lemoncello sauce, truffles, and garlic.

Mussels and Steak au Poivre were both great, as was the bottle of Riesling. I highly recommend sitting outside if possible and watching everyone walk by on the street.

Always a good meal. Best French food in the area in our opinion. Service if phenomenal. Their mussels are the best you fill ever have! Our "go to" restaurant
