We went as turists, after visiting the Verrazano Narrows closeley enough and after that look for a place to eat in the 4th. Found the flame and was the best meal in our 7 days stay in NY. Launch was great and outstanding. Will come back if I have the chance. Fuimos como turistas , visitamos el Verrazano Narrows para verlo de cerca y luego buscamos donde almorzar en la 4ta. Encontramos the flame y fue la mejor comida en nuestros 7 días, y por solo 30 dólares (sin propina ) . El almuerzo fue genial. Volvería a ir si tengo la oportunidad

I would give no stars if possible. This is not BBQ. The brisket was dry and tasted like roast beef, none of the sides tasted right, e.g. the Sweet Mashed Potatoes tasted exactly like yams out of the can. I threw most of my food away except for the pulled pork which was the only thing that was edible. Simply slapping some BBQ sauce on meat doesnt make it "BBQ." Will not be returning.

Food was not that good...went for lunch, waitress didnt split up or bill, so on top of bad food and slow service it took almost 30 minutes for us to figure out our bill..:will not be back.

Yummy to my tummy. The Louisiana 1/2 slab of ribs was tender and the meat fell off the bone. I will be back.
