You must try the pernil (roast pork shoulder with crispy skin) with yellow rice, black beans, and fried plantains. Also, the tripe soup is great. Absolutely love this place. Dont be put off by the lack of decor because the food is the real star of this place.

Delicious food, excellent service, clean place, great prices. I just love their pepper steak and sancocho (spanish soup with everything in it) which is very filling. Actually, everything I have tried there exceeded my expectations. Try it, you wont regret it.

I was introduced to Mangu and its really good with the red onions and smoke sausage...I also had stewed chicken over to rice, I tried tripe soup, the service is good and they give you nice portions
