Its an ok place. I was very excited when this place opened but still find myself frequenting other bars in the neighborhood farther away now that I have gone here 4-5 times. Their outdoor space is nice but feels very cold. More plants or trees to make you feel like you are in a garden rather than parking lot would be nice. Beer selection is nice but often out of many beers. I didnt think this place was going to be a sports bar but thats what it looks like it is with the TVs and crowds of Pratt kids hanging out here. The cons- well they dont take credit cards despite their often malfunctioning ipad POS system. Sorry but cash is very much an inconvenience these days. They are often out of beers that you have to order by numbers as if at a fast food drive through. Two times I have been here with larger groups and have shared food- we all complained. Even for bar food standards it was mostly terrible even after the recent menu redesign. Im a dad so from that perspective this place is extremely child unfriendly. Indoors all seating and tables are high off the ground so you will be constantly worried about your kid falling off the stools. Cant bring my father here either when he visits as he has problems with high stools. There are no changing tables in the bathrooms. When the place is crowded on a Friday afternoon they decide to turn the music even higher making it impossible to hear each other giving the hope of actually talking to anyone impossible. On the topic of music they also have one of those expensive internet jukeboxes. I think I was expecting a solid neighborhood bar with killer beers and outdoor space but it is something else. For a solid neighborhood bar Putnams and Public House still reign supreme. For a good sports bar Mullanes on Lafayette is still the better alternative.

Terrible service. My first time there, they had a sign outside that said "Frozen Rose" which lured me in. I asked bartender about it and ordered two. When I asked him what was in it, he replies "Rose", thats it. I said "rose wine, rose beer?" No answer. He walked away and fiddled with a blender full of strawberries and never told me anything. It was taking so long, I said forget it and ordered draft beer. Asked him whats happy hour special, he says well drinks and draft beer. I said mostly all the beers are draft beer, he walks away. More unanswered questions and poor service. I saw the manager passing and I told her I felt I received no actual service and this was my very first time here. The bartender guy comes over and she gives him a mean look and tells him she will have to have a chat with him later. Right in front of me! So unprofessional! Then she walks away and he asks me with an attitude, whats the problem. Oh my gosh. Soooo uncomfortable. Who does that in front of the customer? Will never come back.

lots of great beers. great place for sports. everyone stopped and just swayed when Tuesday came on by ILOVEMAKONNEN ahhahah EDIT: reduced from 4 to 3 stars. I have mad respect and love for this place because some of the people that work here used to work with me at a cafe that closed across the street and is now a bougie wine shop. However, I suspect that one night, one of the bartenders stole my card information - I was waiting to meet my friends that live down the street and when they said they were home, I kinda rushed to leave. Gave the guy my card, and he gave me back the papers to sign...didnt notice my card wasnt there and forgot to pick it up. Literally the next day, and I have two cards, that specific card after I picked it up had been charged for couple hundred at a Wal Mart in NJ. I know it wasnt just some random bar person because the dude never gave me back my card to begin with...especially considering I went to the bathroom while he was taking my card and charging it to my tab.

Im bumping this up to four stars because my husband and friend loved it. For me, it was three stars. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, the only mistake she made was taking away the signed credit card receipt before we left. My problem was with the food itself. I feel a place like this should be able to do hamburgers right, and they didnt. The biggest complaint was that the hamburger, while well-cooked, was not seasoned well (if at all). The onion rings we had were actually pretty bad - the coating was pretty good, but the onions themselves were weirdly chewy. Overall, this is a nice place that I could see "feeling like home," but just like home the food isnt always the best.

Got to love this tap house in one of the many pulses of brooklyn. The first time I went the place was new and working out kinks. Well baby, the next year I went back. I think they ironed out most of the kinks. The outdoor area was expanded and includes a nice fire pit area. The blend of music and televisions placed in the indoor area are tres perfect. But omg what about the beers; it is a tap house, right! They are delicious and the bartenders well the ones I recognized who been there since the beginning are the sweetest and just kind. My only downside is the food. Very hit or miss... Step ya food game up tap house! The fans will love it.

Buffalo sauce is mediocre taste. Waitress was very friendly but she never came back to check on us and forgot my drink. They didnt pass out the food to my table or the checks at the end. The guy wouldnt walk around the table to distribute food just plopped it all down. Didnt get a chance to try the beer... after she forgot my drink I stuck to water. I like the space though. And theyll put a game on for you if you have any requests. Patrons were awesome, felt like an arena during the big game :)

If you like beer and are a sports fan, this is the place for you. There are several giant screens all around their spacious indoor area where you can watch hockey, basketball, MMA and sport shoes all at the same time. They have tasty burgers and a great selection of beers. Sometimes the music and the people rooting for their teams can be a bit loud, but this is expected in a sports bar. Good for big groups. Bonus: they have an outdoors area.

This is the local college watering hole. Theyve got a ton of beers on tap and cans/bottles galore, all fairly priced with a lot of cheap options and Happy Hour deals. Food is regular bar style but pretty tasty. Large inside space with tons of standing room, high top tables as well as communal seating. Outdoor space is spacious as well with a fire pit and picnic tables. Theres usually some cult classic movie playing on the projector.

Brooklyn tap house is a great place to come & catch a game. There are monitors everywhere and also a nice backyard area. This place can get PACKED for events such as super bowl, world cup etc as expected, however it is on the bigger side in terms of space. Their chicken tenders are yummy & I love their sweet potato fries covered in cinnamon. Lots of great beers on tap!!!
