Trinity is smaller than it may appear from the outside. While its probably not the best place for an enormous party, its a great environment for a few drinks with a friend or two. The bartenders are some of the best and most congenial Ive ever met in New York, and the prices for craft beers and cocktails are reasonable. Finally, the clientele is less pretentious than at many of the other upper east side bars and the place has a dark, comfortable feel.

"Dive bar?" Please. If you think this is a dive, you really havent covered much territory in NYC. This is a clean place with a nice decor and the best bartenders in Manhattan. It does get a little noisy with the music, but then Im not 25 anymore.
