One word: delicious. I visited the diner once pre-fire and was impressed. After renovating after the fire a few years ago, this is now my only go-to diner in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and the place is spotless. They grow tomatoes and some other goodies out front, but Im unsure if any of that makes it into their fare. I almost always go for something with turkey, mostly because they have a huge, freshly-baked turkey sitting at the kitchen window at all times, just waiting for that turkey club. The fries are great, too. Its on an odd block which doesnt get much car traffic, so some may miss it driving through the neighborhood.

I honestly dont get all the rave reviews for this place, except that maybe its an okay dinner in an area with a lot of really bad diners. The booths are uncomfortable. The service is okay. The food is just okay. It wasnt bad but it wasnt good. Ive mainly ordered breakfasts and the eggs are maybe a tad overcooked? Burger was so so, definitely not as good as Yo Burger nearby. Its fine. Like I wouldnt go here on purpose but if I was right there and hungry, I wouldnt avoid it.

I stopped by this diner before going in to work. I didnt expect much as usual, but when I walked in I immediately noticed that the place is spotlessly clean. The waiter was friendly, fast, and efficient. When the food came, it was hot and the portions were just right, and the food was exactly as I requested. The best part was the quality. It was surely the best breakfast Id ever had, and very affordable. Kudos to Tibbetts!!

One of the few classic old school diners in NYC that feels like a diner and is priced like a diner should be. Fantastic French toast, salty potatoes, pancakes, eggs, the works. Can get crowded at peak times, but usually youre seated quickly. Service is fast and consistent and theres always good conversation to overhear from neighborhood old men discussing all their medical issues.

I have breakfast there on a daily basis before going in to work.The place is spotlessly clean. The waiters are friendly, fast, and efficient. Its a great place to go to start your day. The manager Nicholas is very attentive in making sure the customers are satisfied with their meals. One of the gems of the neigborhood and the Bronx !!

Compared to other diners in the area (especially the Riverdale Diner) this place is far superior. Great food, eager service, reasonable prices, huge portions. Best food value in the area. They recently re-opened after a fire, and at the same time the Riverdale Diner was closed because of health violations. Welcome Back!

Very disappointed I didnt find it sooner, I wish i NEVER had to visit that Riverdale Diner (the worst place in the world, should be shut down). Great diner, close to North Manhattan, in the Bronx. Has everything youd want in a diner. Golden-age chromed exterior, all day breakfast, friendly staff. I only ever get breakfast, but the one time I got a gyro salad, I was not disappointed, it was delicious.

I had my first New York Egg Cream there! It did not have eggs. What? My gyro was awesome and the food was pure comfort. Really nice to just relax and enjoy the warmth and hospitality of some good food.
