Eating Italian food at restaurants is always hard (and rare) for me because I grew up with very Italian grandparents + amazing homemade food. But I am absolutely in love with cafe Il Villaggio! The clams in the wine + tomato broth were just OUTstanding! I ordered the veal scallopini pizzaiola - and let me just also say that I was so ecstatic to (a) see veal on the menu and (b) have an incredible selection of veal dishes to choose from) - Im still dreaming about it. So delicious. Next time I go, I am going to order one of the pastas because I was nearly drooling over all of them.

Our go-to Italian place in Babylon. We like others in the village, too, but this place is our favorite. Very gluten-free aware - owners wife is celiac. Great selection of unique pasta dishes, multiple chicken, veal and seafood dishes (not just parm!), all the standards and amazing specials. Wines are not overpriced, either. We have never had a bad meal here. Service is very attentive. Everyone pitches in to make sure you are covered. Try the clams mare chiaro. Amazing flavors.
