Thumbs down, on Villa Monaco in West Islip. Very disappointing. Fathers day, 6/15/14 ~ The appetizer stuffed mushrooms were rubbery, obviously frozen, and same with the Stuffed Pepper, it was cold, we sent it back. The fried calamari... over cooked, rubbery. Ordered "well done" Rigatoni and it came "aldente" But... When your six year old daughter tells you the sauce is SOUR, then it must be bad. " and the entrees were "smothered" in sauce, and it was NOT seasoned at all! The Eggplant Supreme for an entree was returned 2x for being cold in the middle as well, And we decided not to accept it! The best part of our experience was the "Brushetta" spread! Sad... Decor: nice ~ service: Friendly ~ Food: Bad ~ Price: Expensive & not worth it! Click the next restaurant!

I always have a great time there. It is warm and cozy, the service is great (Ramsay is the best) and the food is always just right. I cant think of a better local baked clam, fantastic Caesar salad, steaks are great as are all the Italian dishes (my favorite is the Chick Parm)... Great wine selection and ice cold beer in an ice cold glass. I tend to stay away from the specials, they are pricey, but the regular menu is consistent and great.

Nailed it again... Filet minon with shrimp scampi special, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Expensive at $40 but the filet was the size of my fist and since I took half home, and thatll be lunch today, so thats a bargain. The kids had fresh chicken cutlet fingers, not frozen. Great glass of Cab and a few cold Heinekens.... As always, the staff and service is great.... Thanks Ramsay

Villa Monaco is our favorite local Italian restaurant. Our family likes to go there for birthdays and other celebrations. My kids love it as much as my husband and I do. We will be going there this Sunday for Fathers Day. Comparable to Patsys in Atlantic City but local and more reasonably priced. The staff is wonderful and the owners make you feel welcome every time!

What a shame I had to travel 20 minutes for a chronic pain lecture to find out there was no parking anywhere. Having back issues walking in snow on Montauk Highway was not feasible. Limited seating was 25 unfortunately parking was for 15. Very sad a lecture like this had to be delayed because of parking.....

The buffet was cold, didnt have many options either. The food was nasty and it was undercooked because it ended up giving me awful stomach aches. Parking was small. Never again. The water tasted like old dishwasher soap and the soda tasted like it was expired with a mixture of old dishwasher soap.

This was by far the absolute worst service and definitly one of the worst Italian restaurants I have ever experienced . Half our table returned their food. Disgusting. I was so embarrassed for picking this place for Fathers Day. Never again.
