Never in my life have I been more offended than I was Saturday night at Barrique. The bar staff misplaced my debit card and handled the situation perfectly, but then the GM got involved and tried to accuse me of walking out on my tab. Not only was the bill $40 (if it were $400 I may have understood a *little* more), but the bar staff found my card soon after I left the restaurant. I never received an apology from the GM (though, I really want to emphasize that the bartenders were great and immediately offered to cover my bill, hence my 2 stars), but regardless, I will never go back and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The GM is an idiot who should not be a public-facing employee. Our altercation was outside the restaurant and I cannot tell you how many people came up to me to tell me that hes known for being a jerk. When he is removed from the staff, Ill go back, but never before.

Great ambiance, very interesting food offerings including many uniquely created seafood tapas, wide selection of wines including half bottles which is good so you can try different kinds. Went there on a first date recently on the recommendation of a friend and it was a home run. We tried the octopus tapa which was delicious, some wine and we had a great time. I was very impressed and pleased with the place. 4 stars because the floors/walls/ceilings are mostly made of wood and brick which make for a gorgeous and warm decor, but they also render the place very noisy. Luckily we got two seats at the rail opposite the bar facing the windows so we sat next to each other rather than across from each other so we had no trouble conversating. Will def go back.

This is my favorite restaurant on Long Island and I miss it so much. From the plentiful selection of wine (150 choices) to the sharing of the small plates to the sidewalk dining, this is my spot. The clams, sauteed salmon, free range chicken, braised short ribs, pizza, and the cheesecake are excellent. For the food, the prices are well worth it, and the lively, rustic atmosphere fits perfectly with the delicious dining experience. Also, the staff has always been amazing. One chilly autumn day while eating outside, my waitress offered me a blanket, which I gladly took. It was the coziest, funnest restaurant experience. You must check this place out if youre in the area -- you will be delighted.

This is a great place in Babylon. If you are looking for somewhere to go out on Friday/Saturday night, this is your place. Crowded and noisy after about 8pm. I like going earlier for dinner. And during the summer, the table outside are open and it is so nice to sit out. Great wine selection. And my favorites on the menu are their handmade pizzas-- ooh so good. I also like the roasted veggie sandwich with the nice field green salad. Their desserts are to die for! They are served in glasses, just the right size really. The chocolate mousse is amazing. And for $3.50, totally worth it. The manager is really good, and I have liked all of our servers there so far. We go about every other month.

The food was delicious, everything came out tapas style and exceeded our expectations. The wine selection is vast and the cocktails are very unique and good as well. It was very crowded when we were first sat so it took a little while to get our drinks. We ordered a 4 meat and 4 cheese platter, the goat cheese ravioli, veal meat balls, the short rib grilled cheese, and tuna tacos...it was all mouthwatering.

What a delicious place to eat. Our server, Kerry was so nice and she recommended a delightful bufffalo pizza with gorgonzola fondue. So yummy. But what I really enjoyed was the amazing Baked Pretzel with Brie and fig jam. Yes it was a "Party in my mouth" This is a MUST when eating in Babylon Village. Be warned, parking is tight and the place is packed. BUT, keep in mind it is definitely worth waiting for!

Took my husband there as part of his birthday celebration. This place is awesome. Weve been to many places from upscale to your average restaurants and I must say this place in my opinion has the best service. Like the waiter was Amazing. His name is Mike lol ... I went on a Monday though so I cant relate to it being noisy as others have mentioned. It was a pretty perfect night.

Always a pleasure to come here. While the place can get a bit loud on the inside, there is a lovely outdoor seating alternative that offers some peace and quiet in the great courtyard between buildings. The food is absolutely amazing on a consistent basis. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Came here for a birthday get together and the food was amazing and bigger portions than I expected. The wait staff was knowledgeable of the menu and their wine selection is great. Its designed to look like a rustic wine cellar and is very cozy.
