Its really expensive for such weak food. The menu here is way out of date, every item has gone up by about $4. Youd think $16 Mongolian beef would consist of more than a bland generic brown sauce drowning some steamed beef, definitely not flank steak. The egg noodle chicken stir fry was not only extremely bland, but was very light on anything else but noodles. This was the second time i tried the place in 6 months and both times were the same, but i forgot that the prices were so high otherwise i wouldnt have bothered. Last time i got hunan beef or chicken, and something else. I remember the hunan sauce had literally no flavor and the meat was steamed instead of stir fried. I figured it might have been an off night but it wasnt.

First of all what a dumb! THE place had a strange odor of urine . On my way to the bathroom they had product that was sitting on boards and between the boards and on the floor was the most mice feces that Ive ever seen. When I finally got to the bathroom I open the door and seen one of the cooks taking a shower in the sink. On top of all that my girlfriend got sick from the food. Never I repeat NEVER go to this place unless you want to get sick

This is, without a doubt in my mind, the BEST Chinese restaurant in Buffalo. Offering a standard Chinese menu, with a Vietnamese menu to boot. The place is clean, the servers are couteous, and its a rare time if the owner, Mike, is NOT there to greet you. I retired after 20 years with the Erie County Health Department as an inspector, and this restaurant gets my highest rating. I have seen plenty of these places, so please take my word on it.

the guy at Feel Rite told Ken Kaufman the kitchen was questionable .... Ken has been a charter member of the establishment.... He has the highest honor of having a dish on the menu named after him .... Ken is personally responsible for introducing well over two hundred people to The Red Pepper .... and its over in moment as an over zealous granola cruncher preys upon the good hearted ......

Went there once. Asked the waiter for a recommendation and he immediately got annoyed saying how am i supposed to know what you like just order something. Incredibly rude but i let it slide. My fd ordered the pho, i had the vermicelli, which was supposed to be cold. Came out steaming. Bad service. Bad food. You could tell its bad when no asians dine here.

asked for a vegetarian egg roll and was directed toward spring rolls, not thinking, we ordered those and when we asked our waitress she became extremely unprofessional and walked away without even apologizing for the inconvenience or anything. decent food but not worth the price or the waitstaff that only came over twice. wouldnt recommend to anymore.

The service is great and friendly. They serv two types of styles of cuisine, chinese and vietnamese dishes. The food is served fresh and hot every time we come. The owners greet you when you arrive and are here always to ensure proper service. The food is unique and flavorful . Well worth the drive to visit and the lunch menue is reasonable.

The best in the area by far. Very clean and affordable. I can tell they appreciate my business and that means a lot nowadays. Many places make you feel like your bugging them, especially Chinese restaurants. Red Pepper is a great place to take a first date if your looking to impress your lady friend.

Im new to the area and I come from a very Asian populated city full of great restaurants so I didnt know what to expect. My friend recommended this place and we got our food to go. It was simply amazing! I had the sesame chicken and chicken with broccoli, both were great.

Red Pepper will always be my first recommendation for Chinese Food in Western New York, but keep in mind their Vietnamese menu is also fantastic. The quality of the food speaks for itself, and the service is always on point. You really cant go wrong here.

VERY classy, with the waiters attentive and dressed very well. However, the food itself wasnt really that different than what you can find at other Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants, so that was a wee bit disappointing. But this place was still great :D

This is the best Chinese restaurant that I know of locally. The lunch specials are very low cost and you get a large amount of food. I am partial to the General Tso and Sweet & Sour chicken offerings - the General Tsos in particular is very tasty.

I took my family and extended family Herr based on reputation from online and was NOT disappointed. The food was excellent, we got there early and people kept coming in on a Tuesday! Definitely get there early. I recommend this place.

This is a fairly long standing established restaurant in the area. It has very good Americanized chinese food ( orange chicken, general Tsos, ect) but also has a few vietnamese options. Overall it is a good chinese restaurants

Not the best food ever, but good. Not the best service in the world, but good. Certainly, not the best atmosphere ever, but okay. If we lived in Buffalo, wed go occasionally. As we do not, I doubt we will go again.

This is the best Chinese/ Vietnamese restaurant period! Every dish is better than any other place, the service is excellent, fast, professional and very friendly. We try to go once a week and its always a treat.

Great food in huge portions and a really nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was reasonably fast for a busy night. Be aware that theres no sign at the moment so it can be a bit hard to find.

Service was friendly, but food was awful! General Tsos chicken came loaded with enough red food dye to make KoolAid jealous and the cabbage in MooShu beef tasted like the soil it was grown in. No thank you.

Marten remembers me by name even after many years. Theres always linen table cloths and linen napkins. Hot tea, crunchy noodles and an orange for dessert at dinner are all included. Delicious food!

General Tao chicken definitely has a high end flavor profile thats different from normal Chinese takeout. Would come back to try more. The serving portion definitely matches the price.

Best General Tsos chicken I have ever had. The service is always friendly and the food is prompt. It can get very busy quick so its best to come before 7pm usually.

This is Americanized Chinese. I believe its one of the better ones in the area. It has Chinese and Vietnamese, so you have options. I thought it was only okay.
