We placed an online order for delivery and prepaid for it. The estimated time was 45 min. After an hour and fifteen minuets I called to find out were my order was and was told they were short drivers and it would be here in fifteen minuets. twenty five minuets later I call back fussing and was told the same thing again. It is two hours later and I still do not have my food. I will never use this slap shot restaurant again. I now told them they have fifteen minuets to get me a full credit and have the slip in my hand before I contact the BBB and every website I can think of. Well you see what has happened here I am. They never even called us to let us know that it would be over two hours to get our food before processing the credit card. I will make sure I get my money back and if I have to go up there in the next few minuets it will not be pretty. Stay away, FAR AWAY from this place. Let me ad that the customer service is one of the worst I have ever seen.

THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!!! First off i paid almost $40 and literally got 1/2 of my food. and even what i did get it was missing most of the ingredients. one meal was house egg foo yong. i only got shrimp no beef pork or chicken. and the shrimp was SPOILED it smelled so foul. no way they didnt know it was bad. i called immediately when i realized i was missing food (before i smelled the shrimp) and the lady was rude and said they are very busy and NEXT time they will give me the rest of my order that i paid for TONIGHT. I knew i shouldnt have ordered from them, i saw the horrible reviews i just thought i would give them a chance due to the fact my husband is working and has our only car. they were the only chinese that delivers. Now im out $40 and hungry. NEVER AGAIN. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! I placed and paid for an order from this restaurant. After 2 hours my food still wasnt delivered. When I called a man answered the phone and when I asked about my order he said..."Oh..u want your food?!" I said Yes! Why do u think I placed the order?! He proceeds to tell me hes about to cook it now...After 2 hours! I then tell him to cancel it and refund my money. HE HANGS UP IN MY FACE!! I immediately called back and asked why did he hang up in my face and to confirm I would be getting a refund. He said he would cancel and I would get a refund. 1 week later...NO REFUND! Ill be making an in-person visit today!! The food isnt good for starters...and the customer service is WORSE!! I wish I could give negative stars!!!

personally i thought this place was good at one time. last night i ordered sweet and sour chicken and roast pork fried rice and it was horrible. i think the rice was old cause it made me sick went striaght to the ermergency room. the lady at the front counter had a bit of an attitude. and, i am not racist at all but what chinese resturant do you see a mexican making chinese food? i will not be returning ever something was wrong with the rice i had my stomach pumped and i feel so sick i might be getting a lawyer. never ever again. done with this place

Service was supplied by a barefoot girl with a I pad. No greeting. I waited for her to finished with her message and I finally broke in . to tell her what I wanted. The only thing she said to me was Large or small?" She ordered by the computer then back to her chair & her I pad. She paid no attention to me but continued her business on her phone the entire time.... Finally, she handed me a small bag with a plastic bowl in it and said something which may have been Thanks as she turned her back to me and walked away.

We didnt get half of our order delivered to us and when I called I was given grief and told it was on the way. When I called back 30 minutes later to check on status as it was my childrens food that was missing, I was hung up on. They were rude to me on the phone they screwed up the drink order by giving my children cokes instead of sprite.... my family and I will not order from here ever again!!!! I spent too much money for customer service to be that bad. Do not order from them... go anywhere else!!!!!

I ordered this for delivery using Eatstreet. It took over an hour to get to me, which would be forgivable if the food was good. It wasnt. I ordered sesame chicken, which you would think would be hard to mess up. It was mushy, and way too sweet. The fried rice was...rice. Also, considering the delivery time, quality of the food, and the amount I got (in a "large" order) this was extremely overpriced. I ordered this because I was too lazy to go to Handys. Next time I wont make the same mistake.

I ordered my food by phone and they said that it would take 40 minutes to get to my home, which was fine. But I waited well past an hour and I called to check on my order and the lady on the phone said the driver had left already and then she hung up. I waited another 20 minutes and they still didnt show up. I called them again to cancel my order and the lady said ok and promptly hung up on me. She was so rude and didnt even apologize. They still charged me for the food!!! Sooo infuriating!!

Not gourmet, but far better than a food court. Havent had A LOT of Chinese food in raleigh, but what I have had, 888 is one of the best. Serving sizes are good, price is pretty average, and the food, while varying from night to night, is generally good. Had the orange chicken last week and didnt like it, just a basic oily breaded chicken with fake orange flavor on it. But their general tso, and their noodles are good, my wife likes the crab rangoon and the rice.

I just called this location for a delivery order. I mentioned to the guy that this was my first time ordering and he rudely cut me off and proceeded to collect my address. He was not concerned about customer service and he was rushing me for my address. I did not proceed with the order because if customer service is not your first priority then I wont spend my money with you. I would not recommend this location to anyone!

The delivery driver was prompt and very personable. The food was awful. Everything on the pu pu platter was old and stale. More than half the order was well past burnt. The hot and sour soup tasted nothing like hot and sour soup. It looked the part, but I flushed it. Ultimately, I called to complain. The woman answering my call said "You no like, you no order." So, I wont ever do it again.

okay, okay. The staff isnt the friendliest, but the food is awesome. Nothing is over cooked and is the best chinese we have ordered in Raleigh. Speak clearly and be sure to tell them you want to pay by credit card quickly after you have finished your order. Nice serving sizes and just great food. Not the friendliest, but come on now, it is delivery and not dine in. ENJOY!
