I just wanted to take a moment to pay extreme gratitude & admiration of JoJo and his staff at PeiWei on Wake Forest Rd in Raleigh, NC. Im always impressed by the food and friendliness of the staff. But especially on my last visit, I apparently left my wallet there. I had been looking everywhere for the past 36 hours and I had no idea where I left it. JoJo actually went out of his way to track me down and let me know I had left it there. Most people may have just held it in case someone called, but he actually found me! Perhaps most impressively, the wallet had over $100 cash which was all accounted for!! I couldnt believe that in this day and age there are genuine honest people left in this world! Im so happy for this. The long time table busser who found it and turned it in was not there at the time but I hope to show him my gratitude next time I see him, and I sincerely thank JoJo and his staff for their honesty and integrity.

Went to Pei Wei for the first time today, and actually the last! We ordered Shrimp Lo Mein which was so greasy and they use egg noodles which seemed uncooked! Also Shrimp Fried Rice. It was all mushy and cold. You could tell it was just heated on the grill or however they do it. And also Pork Egg Rolls which were also greasy as if they just dumped in the grease to heat them up. Also, the hot and sour soup. Ugh! We eat a lot of Chinese food and that was nothing like it. Take out Chinese is a million times better. It IS just like fast food chinese. And, the next time I spend close to $30 I will go to the real authentic place---P.F. Changs!!!! Terrible experience.

The food here was plentyful. However, the use of Ginger was so strong I had difficulty eating part of my meal. There were unusual flavor combinations like pineapple that tasted like ginger. Lots of acidic flavours and smells. Pricey too. Seemed like this restaurant was trying to do the "new" asian but trying too hard in my tastebuds opinion. Even though it was pricey my husband and I talked about it and decided we would still have been satisfied with the meal if it had tasted good. We were full, but not content. It was also loud in the dining room due to the open grill.

Theres good reason why the North Raleigh Pei Wei is crowded at lunchtime. Your lunch is cooked fresh and served hot. The sweet & sour chicken or tofu is the best of that genre Ive had anywhere. The manager at the store is not only capable but also very good to his customers. Food prepared like this beats the stuffing out of any buffet, yet the price is in line with what most buffets cost. You might prefer an all you can eat buffet if you prize quantity above satisfaction—otherwise, Pei Wei is the better choice. Its a rarity to see a chain restaurant do it right.

Pick your protein, pick your sauce (good variety to choose from), and pick your side. They also have wonderful appetizers...including sushi. My favorite is the Kung pao shrimp sushi. Very good food that is always freshly prepared when you order. Quick service - able to get in & out for lunch or dinner quickly. Quick food but does not taste like "fast food" Food is delivered to your table after you place your order at the counter. Tables are bussed by wait staff so there is no clean up.

I came into the restaurant with a group of friends, and I had never been to Pei Wei before. I ordered a small meal with some sushi, and then I had realized I had forgotten my card. I rejoined my friends, when the lady at the front came up and said "Its on us today!" Its hard for restaurants to do that nowadays, and I had never received that good customer service in quite some time. I will certainly be back.

The food is what I would expect from inexpensive/quick Asian fusion, but the people who work here are all super friendly and welcoming and awesome. Ive worked in the same plaza and eat most of my lunches here because of how cozy the positive attitude makes the place feel. I would not expect this kind of thing from a chain restaurant! Thank you guys. :)

I absolutely love Pei Wei....which is owned by PF Changs....which I also love. This is intended to be a more casual version of asian dining featuring some of PF Changs better known dishes along with rice and noodle "bowl" type meals. Very good and fast food. I eat here whenever the opportunity presents itself and highly recommend to all my friends.

The food and cooking methods arent authentic, but for a noodle restaurant, its pretty good. I suggest the Blazing Noodles if you like hot & spicy food like I do. Do not under any circumstances get the Hot & Sour soup. Its more like Beef Gravy. It was terrible. Their Mandarin Iced Tea is pretty good too.

The food is on point. Delicious. Young man at checkout needs a personality transplant and a hearing aide. I ordered a roll and asked him several questions regarding how many pieces, how large, and he gave me the rice bowl meal. Ill be back but will watch what Im paying for.

Great service Great food Great price....perfect alternative when I am craving PF Changs, however I do not desire the dining ambiance or wait service. I had the Pad Thai with Chicken and the chicken was probably the most tender chicken I have been served in a "fast" food setting.

Food was pretty good, service was quick, resturaunt was clean. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because they got rid of the Lo Mein and all they have now is Chow Mein. It isnt that big of a deal, and the Chow Mien is pretty similar, but it threw me off.

This restaurant has amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The food comes to you fairly quickly and you can even order ahead if you need to. The menu is varied and the dishes are customizable to suit what youre feeling.

The menu choices are varied. Wok prepared dishes are very well done. We love the lettuce (very fresh iceberg ) wraps, Mongolian beef. Service is excellent. One of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. Eat in or take out.

The food is good but it took 45 minutes to get an egg roll and some chicken. This family in front of us ordering literally had to have the menu read to them word for word. Unbelievable how poorly this place is run

Food is good, but service is dismally slow. We have been waiting 25 minutes for our food and dont see it arriving any time soon. People who were ahead of us in line dont have their food yet, either

I absolutely love Pei Wei! Its one of my favorite Asian Fusion places to eat. Traditional Chicken Lettuce Wraps are so yummy! If there were only a Pei Wei in Wake Forest life would be perfect!

A fresher approach to asian than your typical chinese takeout, I enjoy the food here, particularly the ability to customize each dish to your liking. Prefer it for carry out over dining in.
