This diner was exceptionally great. We stopped for some dinner on our way out of Manhattan around Christmas and the waiters and waitresses went above and beyond for us and our little family. They showered them with fun little things to keep them busy and even play with them. After an exhausting day in New York, this was so needed. And the food was no disappointment. The burgers and fries are delicious, and were so sad we dont live close to visit this diner more often. We hope anyone driving through stops by! Its only a couple miles off the interstate, and then it connect back up right by the diner. Well worth the exit. Clean diner and bathrooms. Visit the Readington Diner! You wont be disappointed!

I was really upset when I left the place. I ordered bacon and eggs and homefries-It took about 20 minutes waiting for my food,when it finally came the waitress also brought a huge side order of home fries which I did not order. I explained that to her and she took them back- she brought the bill and they charged me for them and left them on the table in a doggie box-when I complained at the cashier the hostess came over and argued with me-I paid and left the doggie box as a tip.. Other than that it was OK

Was a little cautious at first because their menu was so big but everything we got was amazing! Great environment and nice people, and a very wide variety! Theyre Bloody Mary was amazing, as was all of there food! We particularly enjoyed the breaded pork chops, homemade Mac n cheese, fried cod, and the steak skillet. We had 4 people and ordered a lot of food and then Ill WAS reasonable. Overall it was a great hometown diner.

The atmosphere and service aspects are commendable. It has a warm, friendly environment with amicable servers. The food is also reminiscent of homestyle cooking, with simple yet appetizing dishes and large serving sizes. The only problem I see is in certain dishes where burnt food is sometimes produced, but that is not a major issue. Overall, this diner is one that stands out among others.

the food was okay, the service lacked severely. The waitress came over 15 mins after we sat down to take a drink order, we were only one of four tables in the restaurant with two servers. When our food came, she didnt return until 30 mins later to only drop our check. Id still go back if service was better. if lacks again, wont ever go back.

the food was very good, until my dad found a hair in it. The waitress was very nice. But when she told the manager what happened they did not come out and speak to my dad. even when we repeatedly ask for him. they only took 1 dollar off the bill. Crazy and disgusting. We could have all eaten hair with out knowing in. Horrible management!!!

Food was a average. The service staff was prompt. We arrived and were given our seat. We received our menus that were caked with syrup or something else that was sticky. We ordered our food and it arrived. We ate it. Not much more to say. Was average.

Food just wasnt good and service was even worse. Waitress messed up my order and when I pointed it out she went to the manager, within earshot of our table, and blamed me. Very poor customer service to go along with sub par food. Will never return.

Diner has friendly staff. They have Gluten Free items on the menu but I dont think they take the cross contamination issue seriously. Also, they dont understand food allergies.... if you dont have any dietary restrictions, they do make great eggs.

Eat here quite often. Nice atmosphere and the food portions are good. Quality is quite good for diner food. The people who work here are unbelievably friendly. Weekends this place can get a bit crowded.

Love this place, new owners as of Jan 2017, so now everyone wears fancy outfits. Good food, fast, good prices, good employees, good parking, right of Rt 31. Since we go to Flemington a lot, we visit often.
