My boyfriend and I went there for breakfast after church. We were seated right away like we always are but this time our waitress was very unsanitary. She comes over to the table dripping in sweat with no desire to clean herself off. It was the most discussing thing I have ever seen. She brought our drinks out with her sweat dripping off her hair into our glasses as well as leaving us spectical about eating any other portion of our food. The toast came out cold and I found a drip of sweat on my plate. I know this sound very extreme but all of this really happened. When we went to speak to the manager on duty "Tony" his answer to us was that she is old and has been with us for 30 years??? Mind you she was not that old she was in her 50s not 80. This must be an on going problem with the waitress name Robin because they knew who we were talking about as soon as we said the waitress that is sweating. He did not take any money off of our bill and we were told the owner was not in. I really dont understand why you would want to have someon working tables when they have a sweating problem. EVERYONE THIS DINER IS VERY UNSANITARY AND I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU GO HERE. THERE IS VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG AND TONY DOES NOT SPEAK ENOUGH ENGLISH TO HELP YOU PROPERLY! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The owner here is more about the girls he finds attractive as employees and asks for sexual favors in return for money. Not all, but most of the ladies working here are rude to customers and steal from other people, including patrons. I was fired for being sick and calling out 1 time which happened to be on a holiday. The seating is so messed up. The cashier and host have no idea what they are doing and seat people however they feel like it. THIS IS FAR FROM AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. I made the owner Gus, aware after my 1st week, that money (tips) were taken off a few of my tables and nothing was ever said or done about it. He blamed it on another server named Charlene who is also known as big red. All of the employees here have had their issues with Big Red and most of it is money problems. She takes tips off other peoples tables and blames it on the bus boy. I feel bad for some of the people I met while working here, because they have to continue to deal with this madness in order to pay their bills. There is alot of sexual harassment here as well, not only from some members of the kitchen staff but also from the owner and the host up front. BEWARE!!!

Saturday afternoon was our first time here and it wasnt bad. The diner was pretty empty the entire time we were there but service was initially very slow. There were workers doing construction on the outside but thankfully it was still quiet inside. The serving staff was standing around the counter talking to each other. It was several minutes before we were asked for our beverage orders. To be fair, I dont know if they were coming in for work and being told about specials, etc or if they were just talking. I was going to order my food when she brought our drinks but she had already walked away. She took our food order when she brought out our beverages. The food came out looking nice. I got the French toast and my husband got a cheeseburger; thats why we chose to eat at a diner. Both of us were pleased with our meals and the waitress kept our beverage glasses full. My only issue with the diner was the delay initially so I deducted 1 star. I thought the food was very good and they even had a salad bar. My French Toast (4 slices of bread) with Canadian ham was $9.50. I didnt notice how much my husbands meal cost. I will definitely go there again.

Diamond Diner? More like Diarrhea Diner! Driving up to this restaurant and seeing the big diamond shaped sign I had a glimmer of hope, perhaps this was the diamond in the rough that is my local area? However, as I sat down to have a nice brunch, I soon realized just how far from the truth that was. The french toast was beyond awful, probably the worst Ive ever tasted in my lifetime, not to mention I was given attitude when I asked for some syrup for my dry unforgiving slices of "french toast". Diarrhea Diner, I salute you, nothing has ever made me hate a place so much that I physically gag at the mention of it.

My second time eating at this diner food is ok. But the service sucked. I had to pay for a second refill of Orange Juice. They wouldnt let order from the kids menu either. Which makes no sense I order from kids menu from other diners never had issues with it. I should of listen to my husband and went Route 38 diner. I will never go back to this place again. I went to bathroom and bathrooms are dirty as well. I decided to wait until I got to Wegmans to use the bathroom by far worse experience dinning!!! THEY SUCK BALLS AND ASS!!

This place is a joke. I saw the red head older woman that works here take money off tables and then make a scene right in the dining room blaming the bus boy of stealing her money. He is clearly mentally challenged. She continued on and nothing was said to her about keeping her voice down or taking it to management. Came back about a week later and still same red head woman here but bumping into patrons and other employees

Worst service ever. We have been 3 times total. Keep thinking it will be better. Boy we were wrong. Went in just for soup and a sandwich. Never got our drinks. I spoke to manager and he is not a nice man. Then made up a lie about the server being new. Only took drinks off of our bill. The ones we never got and didnt help towards the food. Nor did he even apologize. Plus it took 10 mins just for me to see him. Never again.

This was my first visit here, and it seems like any other normal Jersey diner - and thats not a bad thing. My breakfast was good, my coffee cup stayed full, and the waitress was friendly and attentive. I would have no problem coming back here. If youre looking for classic diner food, you could do a lot worse.

Took family to breakfast. Check was 4.00 higher than usual. I questioned the waiter, who said, If i had ordered the juice, my bill would have been 4.00 lower. I ordered juice, but too late. Manager/Owner would not take 4.00 off bill. Terrible customer service. Never eat here again..!

ive been there on several occasions for breakfast and dinner, since they are a local diner. Unfortunately the food has never met my expectations. At this point I wouldnt return because of my love for great tasting food. On a positive note, its a clean restaurant thats always busy.
