Very dissatisfied, my wife and I went here yesterday for the first time in about 6 months and there must be new owners. We ordered the Senior Special Dinners, and the amount of food we got was about half of what we have been getting for the last 3 or 4 years, my 9 year old grandson would eat more than that. And when it came for the dessert, it always came with a slice of cake (your choice) now there is only about 4 choices of cake that you can choose from. Also the waitress was very unfriendly and not very attentive to our needs, many times we had to sit and wait for more coffee (WHICH WAS VERY WEAK), had to ask for some bread which was stale, parm. cheese, etc. VERY DEPRESSING!!!!

Stopped there for an early dinner while I was having my car fixed. Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to take my order and serve the drinks. (Place was 90% empty.) I then watched a waitress and one of the busboys sneak off into the closed banquet room next to where I was sitting and make out for 2 minutes. (This is no joke. I was able to see them clearly through the gap between the closed doors.) Food was delivered stone cold for some reason (Got a BLT with french fries and a salad). I also noticed that all the dishes had a foul smell to them. (Almost like sewerage.) I frequent many diners and this one was by far the worst. Never again.

This place is an amazing place to get food. I went with my friend on sateday morning. It was a 25 minute wait. But I can tell you it was worth it. The waiter was great. There was so many options to choose from. I chose the Monte Cristo. Was delicious My friend ordered steak,poached eggs, toast, home fries and 1 pancake We shared a plate of corn beef hash. That hash was amazing. My friend got this ice coffee drink and I got a hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon. We also got dessert,i got the apple pie milk shake and my friend got the chocolate cheesecakke All in all the food got A++++ Definitely going to go be back

The most disgusting food Ive ever eaten !!! I had bacon eggs and potatoes the egg was some powder or liquid egg which had no taste at all the same with the potatoes they where burned on one side from laying on the grill to long and drenched in old oil or grease no flavor besides oil !!! The bacon was like shoe lather! My partner had a farmers wrap which was just stuffed wit cheese and grease also ! The servers walking around like life sucks and dont smile at all !!!! The owners should really consider to hire new chefs and staff ! Maybe some training in costumer service would be good too!!

For breakfast, it has been ok. We stopped going there though. Why? The service! The girls simply go through the motions. I ALWAYS tip at least 20%. Even for bad service. I respect the work they do. However, I dont appreciate the bad attitudes and frown faces. They seem p*ssed off that they have to wait on you. That alone is enough to stop going there. We now go to Andover Diner just up the road a bit. Sweet people, good food, same great value with a smile. I think business owners forget how important customer service can be. Sad state of affairs if you ask me!

I have been to the Hampton Diner in the past & it was an okay experience, nothing special......especially in comparison to diners around the NYC metro area (i.e Tick Tock, 6 Brothers, Park West, Bendix)..........however, I have absolutely lost all respect & desire to ever come back to this diner after I had a horrible case of food poisoning from eating their baklava dessert. I woke up at 6am & prayed to the porcelain gods until 5pm. HORRIBLE!!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would.....but they require you to at least select 1 star. STAY AWAY!

I dont know much about decor but i could care less about what the pace looks like. I went to the hampton diner for the food, and the food was excellent. The service was also excellent, and the waitress was kind. I ordered the salmon balsamico for 17.80 something and received a caesar salad, two filets of salmon over pasta in a dark sauce with onion and other tasty stuff. It was enough for two people (but i finished it myself because thats just the way i eat, lol) and prepared perfectly. I would definitely go back again.

I would give this place a negative rating if it was allowed. The food is terrible, tasteless and the potatoes were burned. The service was lackluster from the waitress and the staff at the front had tons of attitude. They also charge a ridiculous amount for what they serve. Terrible. Skip it. Youre better off at one of the fast food places nearby. Also, the decor hasnt been updated since the 1980s....and it was tacky back then.

Haveto write something as every time Ive been there I. The past iT STUNK! so much so that even though its close to my house I havent gone back n would rather travel up to the Jefferson Diner. The service always wad nasty n I might let something slide with the food if they didnt s*ck so much. Now granted maybe this people arent there any more but when thats who management hires, cant think that it probably hasnt improved.

Horrible. When you come into this diner you get a wave of attitude from the wait staff. If you want to order food, which I would strongly not suggest, it is awful, you better be not be in a rush. Most of the waitresses are more interested in gabbing about their personal lives then waiting on customers. I was only going in to see friends and have coffee but will not even do that anymore. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Enjoyable diner with a great selection of food and a liquor license. Have had delicious salads and and dinner with generous portions. Staff is friendly and gives great service. Food is always outstanding, including breakfast and soups. My favorite soup is the French onion with cheese melted over the crock bowl. Also very much enjoy the Greek dishes including traditional Greek salad and Gyro

Great hostess , especially the waitress little D , I call her every Thursday we go to eat breakfast we walk thru the door our coffee is already at the place we are going to be seated at ,as a matter of fact, from the Owner Gorgeous young lady and the rest of the women and guys are just Great . I love eating there. Thank you all for treating us like royalty & family.

Got a quesadilla to go, even though the woman asked me if i wanted veggies on it, and i said yes, they did not put anything on it but cheeses, it was soggy and not crispy at all. the fries were soggy as well. We also got a mexican burger and it was supposed to come with salsa, and it did not. presentation was very poor. food was mediocre.

Probably one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. What was supposed to be "pot roast" with brown gravy was actually dried out beef, with brownish/orange goop on it. The vegetables were canned mushy string beans, and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. I wont be going back anytime soon.
