My daughter and I decided to come here for breakfast today. Everything was fine until it was time to get more of the all you can eat pancakes. We waited 20 minutes before the waitress came back to our table to ask if we were ready for the second order, after 20 minutes she asked us from a distance if we received our pancakes, we replied no, however I was wondering why she would ask that question if she was the one that was supposed to bring it to us. So, she brings or pancakes approximately 10 minutes later. When it was time for a third order of pancakes, we were sitting for 40 minutes, thirsty after eating pancakes because not once did she ask us if we wanted refills. By the way, We only ordered water with lemon. Anyhow, another waitress realized that we were not being waited on therefore she was kind enough to ask us if we needed anything. I told her yes and we were waiting for 40+ minutes for service. We asked for our third order of pancakes. So, my daughter finished her pancakes, but we wanted refills of water. So we were waiting, looking and expecting the waitress but again she was no where, approximately 20 minutes went by and finally we spotted her about 7 away from our table she seen us, rolled her eyes but instead of coming to us she stayed talking with a customer about her son and her family life for between 5 - 8 minutes in our plain view as if she was doing that purposely. So she finally comes by the table and we told her we were waiting, and waiting with no refills or service of any kind. So I asked her for a coffee on the house for all the trouble and she gave me an attitude, sucked her teeth and said aight, walked away with an attitude and never apologized to us. Here, is where it gets interesting, my daughter got up to use the rest room but before she got there she over heard the waitress yelling saying, "Im not going back to that table, she wants a coffee, you take it to her" surely it came back to us but not by her but by the waitress that noticed we were not being served. And my daughter told that waitress that she heard what was said about us. And she replied "dont worry about her she is just agitated." For what, we still dont know. We had a horrible experience today. By the way I dont know where she got the water from because it tasted like toilet water.

The food is decent. The place is clean. The staff is friendly. But, it seems as though its struggling. Out of all of the empty booths, the hostess brought my daughter and me to a booth that was slashed open and duct taped over. It hadnt been repaired, but taped poorly. I have fond memories of IHOP growing up when it was the log cabin looking restaurant with different flags all down the rafters in the ceiling. But this new version feels less like a special place to enjoy breakfast with family and more like a franchise corporate owned establishment focused on packing in the masses instead of making the moments we spend with our family and friends, special. I believe that this feeling is shared among many of us, even if we dont recognize it. This, in turn, pushes us away and forces us to seek other places. Why do you think so many of us love a good diner? Diners tend to have that "our favorite spot" feel. IHOP used to have that feel. The one in Menlo Park, Edison, NJ was a prime example of that. ALWAYS packed to capacity over the weekends and the people were willing to wait for their turn to enjoy breakfast at their spot. This IHOP needs to get that vibe back. Management was no where to be found and the place was a ghost town. I hope they come around and improve things. I now take my 4 year old daughter with me and she pours a different syrup for each of my pancakes. Im trying to give her fond memories of the place I grew up to love going to for breakfast. Hopefully, it works and IHOP fixes themselves and lasts for our children to be able to do the same.

The most horrible experience ever, I would never recommend anyone take family there to eat. My family waited 15 minutes just for the waitress, Jenma, to take our drink order. Jenma came back with 4 out of the 6 drinks a whole 20 minutes later then she told us they didnt have the mangoes to make the drinks. Another 10 minutes for the 2 new drink order. After we ordered our food, Jenna came back to say out of crepe mix. I ordered the Eggnog pancake combo when the meal came gave me buttermilk pancakes decorated with the right topping. The rest of party meals were lukewarm and undercooked. When I told the waitress, Jenma, she snapped on me and snatching up the plates. And the order was correct and I told me she could talk to me anyway she pleases. And shell talk to the manager, I told I want the manager sent to my table. The Assistant Manager who never introduced herself came over and only comped my meal. And I give me a 20% off entire guest check. Then, the waitress, Jenma, threatened to kill me and complaining about she hates people & she wants to go home. The General Manager, Jim, came just as were about to pay for rest of the meals and the cashier tried to lie by saying we already paid and left. Right in front of us, Jim comped the whole check and said the ASM didnt handle the situation correctly.

If I could give negative stars I would. First off they clearly over cooked the waffles that I ordered. They were hard flaking and visibly burned and the server still gave them to me. Then as I began to eat the food I found hair around the corners of the plates. I was completely discussed and mortified because I already had a few bites. Then I proceeded to eat some scrabbles eggs that I ordered on the side which was on a smaller plate and there was small hairs on the plate as well. Everything was noticeable if they took a quick look at the food prior to serving!

My husband and I went there for dinner tonight. We wont be going back there again. We both ordered unsweetened iced tea. It tasted stale. The manager brought our meals out to us. We told her iced tea was stale and we would like 2 more. She asked what did we want 2 more of. I said 2 fresh unsweetened teas. When she finally brought them out to us she said she had cleaned the spigot and all and it should be better. My husband couldnt eat his french fries because they were still raw in the middle. My food was ok

As usual...my lingonberry crepes were "vunderbar"...have been ordering them for 30 yrs and am never disappointed. Recently, theyve added a couple of new flavor crepes...may try one next time! Ive had their omelettes there in the past and theyre also delicious. The coffee is served in a carafe which means hot coffee is right there when you want it...our server could not have been nicer or more efficient. Needless to say we love IHOP!!!!!
