A truly pleasant, blink-and-you-miss-it, South Jersey surprise. My wife had the fried chicken. It was delicious and unusual. The breading was crisp but not crunchy--almost like tempura. The Biryani looked like it might not be filling because it was a vegetarian dish, but I was wrong. I dont know much about Indian food other than that theirs was deceptively satisfying with a mild curry spice. My adult son had the Thali platter which again was surprisingly more than he could eat. The variety of foods on the platter kept the palate thoroughly entertained. Out waitress, Elissa, was pleasantly efficient and thorough--keeping us in coffee through the whole meal. I highly recommend anyone stopping here on the way by on 206. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but its worth the time.

I dont usually write reviews... . however this has to be done. I love Indian food. We try and hit some trendy places on weekends in Philly for our Indian food fix. My son asked if we would go to the local diner for waffles. I asked the waitress for her recommends..... and she suggested the owners heritage dishes. OMG. The Thali platter is amazing.... Vegetable Buryani YUM! And he will even do a Chicken Tikka Masala. Apparently he will do other Indian Dishes as well if asked. I feel like I have a hidden Indian gem within 5 minutes. I recently ordered for a family party and they all were so impressed... they thought I ordered it from Philly..... This is an adorable local diner with a Indian food epicurus back door! Obesessed!

We eat there or order from there once a week. We love it. My favorite is the Greek Chicken Salad Wrap. I love his lima beans and spinach as my sides. I like the Indian dishes that he has, sometimes I order the rice dish as an extra and we all eat it as a side. We just had his brick oven pizza last weekend and it was really good. My kids like a sweeter pizza sauce so they loved his pizza, and they also love his homemade ice cream in the summertime. The owner really oversees all of the cooking, recipes, and customers when they come in. His staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Great food!!! Nice little quaint place. Love the Pine Barrens salad! The homade dressing, that Manny makes himself, is " out if this world"!!! To top it off... You gotta try their van./Choc. Swirl custard, on a homade cone!!! The only disappointing comment that I must make....is that the dinner closes too early! Oops....I didnt mention the fresh cooked carrots!!! The best ever!! Little diner, big menu. On the edge of Shamong on the border with Hammonton, Blueberry Capitol of the world. Everything is homemade, big servings. Very down to earth working class diner, no pretensions. If youre driving down NJ 206 save your appetite and say hello to Manny for me. Oh yeah, and try the blueberry pie.

Awesome experience! Tasty good quality food, friendly attentive server (Nicole is best!) , free WiFi, pleasant atmosphere, great big menu. New York steak was perfectly done, juicy and with great selection of fresh vegetables. Chicken fingers tender. Portions big enough but not too big.

Friendly staff but the food was totally blah. The chip beef on toast didnt have much in the way of chipped beef just a lot of gravy that was tasteless my buddy had a feta cheese omelette and he said was mediocre at best.

Got the Thali Indian Platter. Fresh ingredients and delicious taste. Very impressed for a diner in the middle of the jersey country side. And it came with the best rice pudding. It was great to meet the friendly owner.

Pro: A quaint small town family owned restaurant with a great selection of items and drinks. Everything is made fresh and I recommend the chicken wrap. Con: a bit pricey but hey they gotta keep the lights on

Stopped by randomly as I was heading down 206. For a place seemingly in the boondocks (as boondock-y as New Jersey can get), the food was really great and the waitress was attentive. I recommend the gyros.

Manny is super friendly and receptive to customers. Tons of choices on the menu for all types of diets and preferences. Also call up and order a large chicken tikka pizza in advance. Just do it.

Got the gyro and it was close to the best one Ive had yet. Nice place but very easy to miss. The owner is really nice and comes out from the back to make sure everything is good with your meal.
