i see this place has changed hands as many of the people running it are different and since this change the food is not as good. Absolutely no flavor, the last few times Ive ordered from there i told myself i wouldnt go back,but i did and each time i regretted it. I just got done with some szechuan shrimp i ordered, it was completely tasteless not even spicy...i mean how does a Chinese restaurant mess that up??? I will not be going here any more..

I live right down the street from Tung Tin, and I order from them regularly (about twice a month). The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, their delivery is anyways prompt, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is good. In fact, theres only one place in the state that Ive gotten better Chinese takeout, and its in Smithville. If youre in the mood for Chinese, you absolutely cant go wrong with Tung Tin.

So I grew up in Maplewood, and this was my familys favorite Chinese restaurant growing up. Since Ive grown up and moved out, I have still not found a place as good as Tung Tin....close, but just not as good. I have lived in Plainfield, Linden, New Brunswick, and now Newark. If Im going to my parents house (still in Maplewood), I have to make a special trip to Tung Tin for the wings and shrimp fried rice.

Best spot iv ever orderes from.in my life..the delivery driver is such a nice guy and the girl that works the phone such a nice girl...she calls back to explain witch order and what it comes with most people wont ever call they could care less on your food and what your eating..bravo tung tin i higly recommend you to any body that asks me....holland road godbless

I love the food and delivery time is great. Unfortunately tonight my delivery driver refused to bring my food to my door. I live in an apartment building and he was outside the door. I gave him the instructions on how to come up to my apartment and he told me no. So I may not order again which is sad because the food is so delicious.

This place is terrible, especially for delivery. I ordered pork lo mein and was given pork fried rice and called up to tell them. The woman then decided to argue with me and tell me that i was wrong. There are plenty of other places in the area that serve way better food. Do yourself a favor and order from Lucky fortune or blue ocean
