Paragon tap and table was a bit of a disappointment for me. It has good happy hour specials and a good beer selection but otherwise our experience was average. Honestly Im surprised by the great views and the press theyve received. Service was below average, the one guy manning the bar area was swamped and all over the place. At one point he came over to get our food order, walked away mid sentence to check on some food coming out, and then didnt return until we finished our appetizer to actually take our food order. We started with the wings, we had them sevendust or voodoo and beer glazed. The wings were a good size and well cooked. The beer glaze were sweet but I wouldnt have been able to tell that they had beer in them, the other ones were like a salty teriyaki and I didnt really enjoy it after the first bite. For my main I got the short rib sandwich. I thought they just didnt include all the ingredients on the menu but its literally meat, onion rings, bread. It really could have used something else there, some sort of creamy sauce would have gone a long way. Not to say the sandwich wasnt good but it could have been so much better, the meat was really tender and pretty tasty. My girlfriend got the tuscan stack which she enjoyed. It was quite a bit of food with 2 pieces of chicken on it. Both of our entrees came with fries which were terrible, perhaps some of the worst fries Ive ever had. They were tough and stale, they went into the garbage when we got home. We both finished about half of our sandwiches and took the leftovers home, the portion size was fairly large. We split a peanut butter brownie for dessert, it was decent but obviously fresh out of a sysco box. In summation its a good spot for cheap happy hour beers and wings but in our experience not much else.

Soy- & dairy- intolerance accommodation in Clark! As my wife had developed a soy intolerance, weve searched high and low for establishments that could accommodate this request, but much to our disappointment for 12months weve encountered many places that claimed "no problem" but in reality we felt unwelcome and a burden to their menu. We spoke with staff who were unaware of how prevalent soy is in dishes, or told that her only option was a salad with an uninspired vinaigrette. Many use soybean oil which made it difficult. Well, look no further as an enticing option exists at the Paragon. I knew I was in good hands as I spoke with the sous-chef Juan; we discussed the go/ no go options and I never felt he was annoyed. Further, Chef Eric met us face to face upon our visit to reiterate the options and what could be subbed, but more importantly to convey that wed have a safe and pleasurable experience. For those with food sensitivities, being able to eat outside your own kitchen without fear is a tremendous relief. No soybean oil is used at all. Despite Paragons Asian-influenced menu, there were a host of selections which allowed a feeling of choice- which is rare for someone with soy intolerance. I recommend to review the menu online and call to discuss options, as there can be many. The entire staff was wonderful. They did not approach this as a burden for their kitchen, but as a way to help an individual with a challenge dining outside of their home. Finally, Chef Eric returned at the end of our meal to follow up. This type of experience has been exceedingly rare and I am thankful my wife can eat without fear. We will return.

I just stopped in to fill my 64oz beer growler and wasnt paying their pricing any mind: all places Ive gotten growler fills from (Joe Canals, Cypress Brewery, Harpoon brewery, etc..) ranged in price from $12 - $20, depending on the brew. Was I ever in for sticker shock!! Ive supplied a picture of the bill I received for 64oz of Stone Brewerys Mocha IPA: $44.90!!! When I questioned the server about the exorbitant price she told me it was due to the higher ABV (alcohol by volume) being 9.0%. By that reasoning a 1.75L bottle of Titos vodka at 40% ABV would be what...$300 or so?! Bottom line: Paragon is charging ridiculous growler fill prices. At more than twice the price you can expect to pay anywhere else, its simply unheard of. I gave them two stars because Ive eaten there previously and it wasnt bad. After this treatment however I wont go threw their doors again for food or otherwise.

Overall poorly executed restaurant/bar. What more can you expect from a restaurant in a Target and Marshals parking lot! The place is split into two, one half (Tap) felt like I was in a bar in Hoboken (i.e., frat brothers and sorority sisters just out of college), the other half (Table) felt like I was in an average strip mall restaurant in a low income town. The Good: - Beer Selection (lots of draft beers, plus a full bar) - Duck Quesadillas, Chips, and Fries The Average: - Burgers (lack of flavor in the meat, lots of topping to hide this) Poor: - Service (Very inexperienced staff on their first job. I could list many details here, but Ill just say we eat out a lot and this was the worst service weve had since a memorable night in 2013) - Half the food items - For an almost daily updated beer list, the place shouldnt run out of beers by 9pm.

Found this restaurant through "Untappd" and decided to give it a try. Everything on the menu looked great but we decided on the traditional Mac and cheese s am app, the pasta with short rib -so much flavor, short rib grilled cheese - rediculiously good, French onion soup-the best we have ever had, a slider special with 2 different burgers and Mac and cheese - lobster pieces in the one were huge, the crab one was a bit too fishy though. The burgers were very good especially the Jersey burger with pork roll! The craft beer selection was very good. And or server (Meghan) was exceptional. She made us feel welcome and very attentive. I believe she said she was fairly new but you would not have know by her knowledge of the menu and beer. We will definitely be recommending to all of our friends and will be back again very soon!

Grading on a curve for location, sure, Id give this place 4 stars. Paragon has an excellent beer selection: lots of great choices on tap, lots more by the bottle, with a wide range covered. You could come here for the beer alone and leave happy. For food: the burgers Ive tried have all been good. Last time I opted for the Bacon Eater: a thick patty (probably a third- to a half-pound), medium rare, topped with thick bacon slices and blue cheese, all on a nice brioche roll. Very good. Wings and other apps have also been fine. Service (from Mimi) has been friendly and attentive. In terms of decor / setting, its a bit lacking in character. The furnishings are all new, middle-of-the-road. Not out of place for the strip-mall setting, I guess. So you wouldnt come here for the vibe, but everything else is good.

On June 24th, I had a bridal shower for my daughter at Paragon. We had the side room next to the dining room. We had about 32 people and it was perfect! I cant say enough about the staff at Paragon. From the minute that I booked it in February to the week before, everyone was very helpful. Ernie, one of the managers, made sure we could get in early enough to set up and was open to anything that we wanted done. Tommy and Abbey were our servers and couldnt have been more attentive! I chose to have a brunch, which I had not tried before. The food was out of this world! I cant say enough about the food and the staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a party. Thank you again for making my daughters bridal shower perfect! LouEllen Hawley Dexter
