read the reviews - they seemed a bit extreme, so we went anyway - knowing full well to expect a dive bar on a thurs night. it was not a packed bar, yet it took over an hour (1 hr 15 to be exact) to get nachos (?!?!?). drinks came fast though. $4 for yuengling...$5 for sam adams...typical dive bar. just dont expect to eat here. bartenders complained about kitchen staff...when i asked about the food (after an hour fifteen!) to who i thought was the manager (turns out he was the owner ) he grunted, and seemed annoyed that a customer was bothering him. didnt even have the decency to answer me. bartenders were apologetic, but didnt feel the need to comp a beer or anything for the ridiculously long food wait (it wasnt even busy!!!).

Very nice local pub... One of the last original down home places left in Red Bank... I go to most of the places in this town and they are either over priced or pinkies up. The staff here is friendly... they know your name and drink.

One of the worst bars Ive ever visited. A couple of homeless folks live at the bar and it smells like it. You havent been able to smoke in Jersey bars for years, but this place still smells like an ashtray. Nasty service, too.

I dont know about the food but the drinks were way overpriced. $18.00 for one drink and a beer plus a cover charge for the music. Good music but at those drink prices Id never go back.

Should be a picture of the Walt Street in the dictionary under pub. Food is very good. Bartenders are great. Old school. Great bands on Fridays and Saturdays.

Feel like its gone down hill in the past few years. Bartenders can be a little grouchy at times. Food is OK. Just typical bar food that youll regret the next day.

Best bar in Red Bank, hands down. The only place thats not obnoxious. Drinks are half the price of any other bar in this town.
