Dined at Triestina for the first time. Our starter was a Bruschetta on the house, Thank you very much. After which our waiter rattled off a creative, mouth watering, list of specials. After much deliberation I chose the Zucchini with Flowers as an appetizer, lightly breaded and fried with Ricotta. Lovely!! For the Entree, Fettuccini with Steak Tips.. Wow. My Lady picked the Chicken Parmesan from the menu. (This is her way of testing a first visit to an Italian Restaurant). It passed with flying colors. The fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a major plus as we get to enjoy a great bottle of wine at a reasonable price.

We are really happy that we tried this gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was quick and attentive. The only thing that would have been nice to know is that its a little more upscale than casual of an atmosphere. I think that this place is probably the best kept secret in the area - we have been going to Garlic Rose, but we liked the food here better. Hopefully the owners spruce up the outside of the building. If they made it half as nice as the food is, the place would attract a bunch more business.

What a GREAT little restaurant with amazing food! Service was impecible. We were even offed Zambuca by the staff after our delicious meal. Friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. The portobello,brie cheese, roasted pepper and mixed green appetizer was amazing. Thought about it the entire next day. Gnocci wasnt on the menu but I just asked and poof I had fresh gnocci as my pasta. Excellent food, I really cant say enough about this wonderful little restaurant!

What can I say about this place. Easily accessible right off the Garden State Parkway, and an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Owner Benny and his staff show great service and astonishing food. You dont even have to look at the menu after hearing the specials. His brother (the other owner) Chef Matt has a lot up his sleeve when it comes to cooking. Great for private parties and great overall, give it a try you will thank me later.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant. My family has been going here for most of my life, and Nick and the staff are always wonderful. Food is always delicious. If youre lucky enough to be there on a night where they have the homemade pasta with crab meat in vodka sauce, definitely get it!

My entire family loves this restaurant! Weve been coming here for over 10 years and its the best Italian food in town - hands down! They have a terrific menu and an extensive list of specials every night. You wont be disappointed!
