I really like their panini, and they have an excellent variety of bakery goods. Im also quite partial to their cannolis and scones. What is notable about the place however, is whenever I go in for a bite or to collect our evenings dessert, I usually find one of their front-end reps called Alba greeting customers with a smile, and when my turn she seems to be already arranging my order before Im done asking. Its a pleasure in this day and age to frequent an establishment which understands customer service is an asset rather than an expense. At the end of the day, good food is good food, subject of course to those little variations one expects; However its CS reps like Alba who make the difference between "just another bakery" and one worth writing a review about.

Took a client there this past Sunday...ambience great. We ordered Cuban sandwiches -- meat was TOUGH AS ALL GET OUT! I returned to the sandwich makers, who were very nice - gave me swiss cheese as we could hardly see or taste the cheese....the cook said they layer sandwich ingredients, but this procedure did not work for our food. Bakery has great edibles, but I will be interested to try another paninni -- hope it improves. Thanks for listening. Susan Johnson

Made the trip out here on a Sunday when we realized our farmers market was closed and we wouldnt be able to get our crumb cake! It was super full when we got there, but the line moved quickly. Unfortunately, we got three pieces of crumb cake and they were all stale. Wouldnt be surprised if it was a Wednesday afternoon or something, but it was Sunday morning, everything shouldve been fresh!

They have extensive and fresh cakes, cookies, breads, donuts, and breakfast & lunch menus. Not to mention a lot of coffee choices with flavored creamers at a very reasonable price. The store is beautiful and plenty of parking in the back and metered parking. Out door seating. Very friendly staff. Im there every chance I get for ice coffee and cinnamon raisin bun or a breakfast sandwich.

The blonde girl at the counter wrapped the small cookie I bought as a gift workout hesitation, at 6:03 (past closing) and then offered if I needed anything else with such a warm and genuine effort. She was thoroughly accommodating. I havent seen such hospitality over something so trivial as a cookie in forever. What a great person! Thank you for making me feel good. :)

The baked goods are excellent and they have a wide variety of cakes, cookies, pies and other treats. So why not 5 stars? Two reasons, one being about one in every three visits I get someone thats really not too friendly and second, the prices are high for the goods. I get that you pay for quality, but still, could be a little better.

I dont know how this place has survived all these years. I supposed is because people really dont know much about food here in Jersey. The pastries are terrible. I found that that the quality is very poor. Lots of choice. But dont let you fool. They are not that great. Service is OK too. I am not going back.

Ok baked goods. The cakes and cupcakes are great, the rest is meh. Service is typically surly. The new location has a tacky plastic feel to it. Design choices by someone who must own a stake in a plastics firm. Coffee is not good, plain and simple. Plus, it closes too early. Hot spot for local cyclists.

The cakes and pastries are descent... but the breakfast sandwiches are terrible, the potatoes are dry as a bone and the omelettes are tasteless. Plus, the cooks have messed up my order on three separate occasions. Needless to say, unless you are buying an eclair, I would pass on this place.

Great old bakery thats been there since I was born. Started by a Swiss family and features baked goods from that area. They just moved across the street to a bigger location so theres more sitting area. Try any of the Swiss or German style pastries and you wont be disappointed.

Food is good, but I have been twice and both times my order has taken over 20 minutes from the time I ordered to be ready. Once the order was completely lost, and the staff required constant supervision in order to produce the order. The service is casual at best.

Great cakes, great for kids with lots of cute and colorful designs. I always try a scone or muffin or something more adult, and it is always pretty mediocre in my opinion. Very friendly staff and patrons, though.

The coffee selection is wonderful. The breakfast sandwich is the best value and is served with delicious potatoes. Fed 2 adults breakfast for 16.00. Bagels and croissants are great, and my son loves the cookies.

The past two times I went there we experienced poor customer service from the same employee, who had quite the attitude and was far from helpful. The pastries were stale both times we were there.

$57 for a 10" walnut maple cake. We were charged extra for a spoon fill of walnuts (I mean a spoon fill). Extra for maple flavoring. Crazy. I would post no stars if I could. It was pretty.
