My family and I always used to love this bakery due to my severe peanut allergy. That being said, the fact that it is no longer peanut free is disappointing to say the least. I have a pretty large family and we would always order from Woodland for each birthday (about 14 cakes per year) and I would often stop in on my way home from class for a cupcake or cookie. It is a shame that they could not remain peanut free. In addition, over the last few years or so we noticed a drastic decline in quality. The cases are never fully stocked and Woodland discontinued several good items like red velvet cupcakes. The goods available were stale. In general this bakery has been going downhill since ownership changed, and the latest change regarding peanut allergies certainly has not helped. EDIT (5/23/17): I certainly do not "hate" your bakery, and I apologize if I gave you that impression. Thank you for taking the time to explain to me the reasons behind your decision. I would have called to discuss this had it not been for the fact that I visited your bakery back in October and told an employee how glad I was that you were peanut safe to which she responded, "thank you". That probably would have been a good opportunity to alert me to the change in person, which she blatantly failed to do. I am not a business owner so I suppose I wouldnt know, but to me that negligence seems like a huge liability issue. Also thank you for the great recommendation for Mo Pweeze, I will definitely look into it.

We found Woodland Bakery online and ordered a Coconut Lemon cake from them for a birthday party we were throwing. I didnt have time to stop into the bakery to order the cake, so I ordered over the phone. Every staff member I spoke with at Woodland Bakery over the phone was very kind, patient and professional. They described the cake to me beautifully and I felt confident ordering the cake over the phone from a bakery I havent seen. We picked the cake up and it was BEAUTIFUL! The cake was absolutely perfect! Then the real test came when us and all our guests ate the cake. The cake was SO GOOD that we hardly had any leftover. MANY THANKS to Woodland Bakery for baking the most YUMMY cake!! It was one of the freshest cakes Ive had and not overly sweet. I would highly recommend them.

Probably the best cake Ive ever had was from here. I ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse inside covered in chocolate frosting. It was amazing. Its a delicate balance when dealing with that much chocolate and not making it overly sweet. It was light and moist. Also, do yourself a favor and get a few hand pies to go. Blueberry and cherry are my favorites and lemon is my wifes favorite.

I began purchasing the hippotamus cookies for my grandchildren & they absoultely love them....recently I purchased a cake for Mothers Day & it was delicious...the buttercream frosting was wonderful not overly sweet but very tasty...I am ordering a quarter sheet cake for another family gathering on sunday...I am sure it will be delicious..I recommend this bakery to all looking for quality baked goods.

I grew up loving this bakery for their cupcakes and cakes. (I am a sucker for buttercream frosting, and theirs is the best!) Ive been back several times while visiting this past month, and everything tastes as delicious as ever. I can vouch for their cupcakes, shadow cake, and the sprinkle cookies. Yum! My favorite place. I want to buy everything.
