Celebrated my sons birthday with a custom made cake from Square Cut and boy they made it with so much of perfection as I wanted them to. Cake was not only made well to look good but was damn delicious too. I used to get custom made cakes from other vendors but they just used icings which looks good but tastes average. However, they made it with the cream they usually put on their small cakes and it was just yum! Really great job!!! I dont really take time to write reviews but I wanted to thank them this way!

Square has some pre-made food items and some made-to-order items. However, all the food quality is pretty decent. It also adds a nostalgic touch to its bakery section which reminds one of the small bakery and food shops in India. They have small bite sized pastries that are exceptionally delicious. The puffs, the dabeli, and the vada pav are definitely among items not to be missed when visiting here. All in all, a great place for the budget conscious among us.

Our cake at my wedding was a big hit, which we ordered from Hot Breads in piscataway. We never thought that so many people would come up to us to ask where we ordered our cake and pastiries at our wedding. I have personally been to Hot Breads many times because of the delicious sandwiches, paninis and cookies my co-workers, family and I are addicted too. The quality, service, and prices are excellent for the delicious food they serve.

I rarely post reviews of places I visit and restaurants I eat at, but feel that I NEED to post a review for this bakery. We ordered pastries (one of each kind they had that day) from here and they were EXCELLENT!! They werent just loaded with sugar, but actually had been well crafted and had been made to perfection! Really good place with very reasonable prices. A great place to pick up a quick snack to go.

I recently moved to New Jersey and one of the few things that I was excited for was the quality of Indian food that would be available in this state. A lot of places in Edison on Oak Tree were a large disappointment but Square Cut is a small hole in a wall with great food! Exactly what I was hoping for out of NJ.

Hands down the best idlis Id ever had in US. Everything else is amazing as well, including the cakes, chat, dosas, everything. And all that for very reasonable prices, just order whatever you want and look at the bill and tell me if you arent shocked!

The quality of pastries and sandwiches is far better than other hotbread locations! I am happy that they accept credit cards too. I live in oldbridge, nj and much rather travel to this location than the one in Edison.
