I needed a last-minute surprise-party gift for friend & found this place online, so I ordered the Gourmet Coffee Gift Basket which was priced at $44.95. As I had to work until 3 hours before the guest of honor was to arrive & the party was 100 miles away, I phoned the order & was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived at their location an hour later, but it wasnt ready, so I waited about 10 minutes. When the owner brought it to the counter, she told me the cost with tax was $53.50. I advised her that the advertised price was $44.95, so with tax it should have cost $48.10. She refused to adjust the price, saying that "shed look into the online pricing". I offered to pay $50.00 cash, which she also refused. Since I didnt have time to shop elsewhere, I paid & left. But Id never go back & will relate this experience to friends.

The setting is nice. Staff is very friendly. My quiche though... Wouldve been better had it not been microwaved and loaded with pepper. Who microwaves quiche I dont know but the end result is unappetizing to say the least. Go for a sandwich, they seemed much better.

This is my favorite place to have a light lunch, read my book, sometimes nod off in the cozy living room in the back. So relaxing. Great people, good soup and popovers.

Ann is always so friendly! They have the best treats and cool things to buy! Always nice to pick up a card to brighten someones day while grabbing my morning coffee.
