Went for mothers day tea and I dont think they were prepared for it. no plastic cups with straws to give the small kids water. We were a party of 6 and had to wait really long to be served. I thought the selection of teas was limited (no chai tea on the menu?) I did think the place was cute, I did think the staff was nice and friendly as can be. One waitress came outside to help calm my screaming toddler. I wouldnt usually bring my small kids to a place like this but i thought for mothers day they would be prepared. It would have been a nice added touch to give each mom a rose or a small complimentary tea sachet when leaving. Ive been to other places on mothers day where the place was prepared to deal with mothers and small kids with utensils and quicker service as small kids have small windows of patience. Again I am thankful for the staff, im sure a mom with 2 small kids can be an overwhelming customer and i did appreciate that they did what they could.

We held my daughters bridal shower at this venue. I liked the room and the china and while the sandwiches and scones were very good I was disappointed in the quantity of the food. When the scones were being served, my guests were told that they could only have one of the two varieties of scones being offered because there may not be enough of each variety to go around, I was not pleased with that comment.

Waited for 15 minutes outside while the waitstaff ignored us raced around getting ready for a bridal shower... Our waitress was apologetic and sweet, however, gave us all the same iced tea and messed up our quiche order... Disapointing to say the least. If you do decide to go and sit outside, be aware there train whizzing by right across the street. Wont be back.

The decor is very traditional, fine China, fine setting. The finger sandwitches were good, the scone was yummmy! We bought a bottle of wine with us, the staff was extremely curtious. We had a great time, we are going back on Friday the 17th, 5/17/2013. I have never in my life written a review, please go there, you will not regret it.

My 21 year old daughter and I enjoyed everything from the quant ambiance to our charming waiter. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. This tea room had a plethora of unique teas, that were endlessly delivered upon request. It truly was an incredible place. I found it to be a little expensive; however, worth the money.

Was there just last weekend and it was amazing. I had a great experience. Everything was exquisite. Definitely a nice room for women to get their inner princess + pampering on. Service was also great. Left satisfied. Will definitely come back!

Great experience here. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and the tea was delicious. I really felt like this was a legitimate Victorian tea house with all the beautiful paintings and the elegant atmosphere.

I went an hour before they closed so they had run out of a few types of tea and a sandwich or two but I enjoyed my time there. The scones were quite good and the sandwiches were just as they are in England.
