I came here for the first time for an early dinner the other day and it was definitely really good! We shared the mango salad as an appetizer and while it has a bit of a strange smell/taste (really fishy and super salty) at first it definitely grew on me after the first few bites. I dont claim to be a Thai food connoisseur by any means but the drunken noodles dish was definitely one of the best Ive had. We asked for our food for be made a little spicier than regular and it was perfect; packed a punch without being overwhelmingly hot. The Devil Thai Basil Chicken was very good but a little too deep fried for my taste. Ive never had this dish but the menu said that it was "lightly" fried which I didnt find to be the case. Nevertheless, the flavors were great! The restaurant is BYOB and theres liquor store less than half a mile away which is helpful. I encountered a similar issue to one other Yelp-er in that there was a fly that was just glued to our table by the window, obviously which turned me off a little bit. Overall, the staff was very friendly/accommodating and the decor of the restaurant is beautiful and traditional. I would definitely go back if Im ever in the area again.

As a Thai person, I would recommend you guys to try this place. Talking about their foods, those are similar to the Thai authentic dishes. I like their restaurants atmosphere as well as the owner and the staffs. They gave me such a warm welcome every time I come in, it reminds me of coming back home and eat with my family. Talking in term of business, Kawee Thai could give you such a generous portion while you can grain lots of nutrient through their well-prepared and testy Thai foods. I think it worth every penny you spend!! Try it and you will know :)

The owners dont seem to speak much English, but once you taste the food, you wont care! My friend and I ordered the Beef Terri & Duck Pad Thai. All the veggies were tender-crisp and super fresh, and the duck and beef that came with the food were very flavorful. The lunch specials were reasonably priced, and the owners were attentive. The portions were very generous and also came with some lovely crisp spring rolls and edamame. I finished with a Thai iced coffee which was perfect - highly recommend!

We have been going to Kavee Thai frequently since it opened. The owner is a wonderful person and greets his customers often. When I stop by to pick up the delicious food they make, if he sees me will come from the range and ask me how my wife and kid are doing. We are unfortunately relocating out of state and will be missing this restaurant greatly. The food is delicious, the price is right and the ambience both inside and outside is fantastic (they have outdoor seating!)

Passed by this little gem all the time and never noticed them. Place is beautifully decorated. Restaurant has a very intimate setting. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Always greeting us with a smile. Food comes out quickly. Initially ordered generic thai dishes and then ventured into the chefs specials. They were amazing and am looking forward to trying the rest. Tofu triangles...my favorite appetizer!

I LOVE KAWEE THAI, THE CHEF IS SO FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS COME CHAT WITH US THE RED CURRY IS EXCELLANT I returned to KAWEE THAI on friday july 1st and had the duck kee mao it was extrondinary very succulent and noodles were tender and juicy, the service was excellant as usually and for desert i had the fried ice cream which was cool because they lite it in fire which was very cool the kids loved it

Very authentic Thai. Great tastes. Curry gets better each time I go. Initially their green and red curries were a little on the sweet side. I mentioned this on a visit a few weeks ago. They have addressed this and are now producing great food. Papaya salad app was super spicy and recommended. Excellent service - the female manager cant do enough re ensuring your meal is just right.

This is one of the places that we go on a normal basis because the food is fresh and healthier compared to most of the places that is in the area. The people there are very friendly and in a genuine way. The lunch special is 10 dollars and for what you get its cheap. For the few extra dollars I rather come here than the cheap Chinese food.

Went to dinner Monday night and the soup and dinner was excellent! I would definitely give this place a try and see for yourself. I had the Pad Thai steak and chicken and my colleague had the Green Curry Chicken which were both very flavorful. Great job!

I drive about 900 miles per week in NJ (in home services) this is hands down the best Thai food in NJ. Red Curry Chicken is amazing! The staff is fun and very nice. You need to go here so that you know what it is actually supposed to taste like.
