I take great pride in reading and writing reviews. I count on them and they have served me in good stead. I cant remember when or if Ive ever left a bad review but today is the day. This was my first visit to My Kitchen Witch. Granted the restaurant was crowded at 9 a.m., which is still no excuse for poor, even rude service. The servers were harried and it showed. No one greeted me for 20 minutes. While waiting for my breakfast inside, the kitchen apparently had a problem and the place filled with smoke. My clothing still smells of it. I proceeded outdoors to sit. When my order finally arrived, 45 minutes later, it was the wrong order. The eggs were well done after ordering over-easy. The toast tasted extremely odd. I will say the bacon was suburb but thats where it ends. One of the waitresses and a server did their best to be nice but my initial waitress never came back to check in with me. When I sought after my bill it was like jumping through hoops. I was unfairly charged for fruit which was a substitute for potatoes. I questioned the only nice waitress there and she explained it was a "charge -up". Huh!? At that point I couldnt wait to run outta there that I didnt even care, at the time. From all the good reviews Ive read Im sure this was an unfortunate exception for My Kitchen Witch but sadly, it was a very poor experience for me. Im sure I wont be returning anytime soon.

My husband and I love this place. Great alternative to the traditional jersey diner breakfast, with delicious lunch options. Awesome soup! Vegan options. Fantastic smoothies and fresh juiced fruit n veggie blends. They use high quality ingredients in their from scratch recipes. Everything is full of tlc! The service lovely, even when they get busy. The atmosphere is county cottagey with streaming music from the 30s and 40s. It sets such a perfect relaxing mood. We spend 10-15 per person when we go, a bargain for the fresh, creative, healthy and comforting nutrition we get at my kitchen witch. Make reservations for Karyns Friday night dinner!

Very good food for breakfast and lunch. It is a very small venue but it is unlike your nearby Diner. This restaurant is themed with lots of knick knacks on the walls for ambiance. The chef/owner caters for many television shows and celebrities. The Witch is written up in several magazines and gets its usual diners so there may be a wait if you go on the weekend. The food is now branching out to Gluten-Free and Vegan options which is great! They also have a Juice and Smoothie bar attached to the restaurant where you can buy delicious drinks! Overall, the Kitchen Witch is very good and has excellent healthy food.

After loving our first visit here last fall while vacationing nearby, this was a "must visit" again this year. We showed up on a Friday morning with seven adults (one in a wheelchair) and four children (one in a high chair) and were warmly welcomed! I personally had the French toast and bacon (a MUST) which were excellent! Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. The staff was wonderful! I only wish you were closer to our home so we could visit often! Well be back next year! Thank you!

The food was amazing! I loved the voodoo omelette (love the creative names too). The Bacon was addictive and the strawberry butter with scones to die for. It was also some of the best hazelnut coffee Ive had. The service was a little slow but understandable since it was a busy Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be going again soon.

The food is amazing, the environment is also great. It does get super busy so the wait can be a little much but its definitely worth it. Its also not that far from the beach. One of does places you have to go and try out and mostly will come back again too. Offers so many healthy options. Also has a market thats stays open till 7 and a juice bar. Over all 5 out of 5

The bacon well done is a whole new experience in palette utopia. AWESOME to say the least. The Hocus Pocus, coffee, a juice drink, and the bacon well done are my go tos. Sometimes the service timing is off but the ambience and food are always on; no place is perfect. Everyone their is super nice with a great attitude. Karen, the good witch, is super awesome!

Great little place for a weekend breakfast with a good choice of eggs/omelets and all the homy stuff you want to see at breakfast. They dont accept reservations and can get a bit crowded on the weekends, but definitely a good and reasonably priced option.

Cluttered, stuffy, high energy. The balance was off. The omelette with spinach and feta was not spectacularly executed nor was the French toast. Go to Zoes, unless pretention and logistics have you cornered. Hot, edible and eventually served it was.

Hands down the best casual restaurant in the area. The menu offers an original spin on healthy lunches and comfortable breakfasts. The food is constantly high quality and tasty. The service is efficient, and the atmosphere is homey and delightful.

This restaurant left a mommy near tears in the Moms group on fb bc they wouldnt accommodate a baby in a car seat. They wouldnt allow a stroller or sling. This is horrible treatment!
