I am Absolutely in love with this cafe! Although it could use a bit of updating its absolutely wonderful quite relaxing n the perfect little cafe that all of us search for. "BA" has two really comfy couches plays cool jazz and serves your entree to the table. They have everything from chai, hot chocolate, coffe, or lattes to actual entrees like omelets sandwiches, wraps and paninis, to name a few. The aura here is very comforting, definitely recommend this cafe to all. A grand place to just sit and chat or read a great book- come and see for yourself!

Had a very tasty goat cheese omelette that youd probably never get at a diner. Coffee selections were good too especially if you want something different. Prices pretty reasonable. Their sandwiches and salads sound good to but havent had a chance to try them yet. And Dave if you have a problem with Metuchen fine but your review has nothing to do with this particular establishment. I drive through Metuchen several times a week and never had an issue with cops, oh and I yield for people crossing the street like youre supposed to do

brewed is the best coffee shop in NJ! we love to go and play games, drink delicious coffee, and breathe in the sweet aroma of the beans. The omlettes are out of this world and are not spongy. In conclusion, we suggest you support local coffee shops and change your morning routine to include Brewed Awakening coffee as opposed to the evil corporate chains (starbucks).

I have stopped in here a few times and they are always right on point with the drinks and food they have. This place is like Starbucks except it is not a big business which makes me feel even better about shopping here. The stuff they make is always amazing. My favorite is the banana mocha latte. Always a pleasure to stop in here and have a cup of anything!

Brewed Awakening is one of the only decent local coffee shops in the New Brunswick area. Their coffee is pretty good, and they have a wide array of flavorings (much better than starbucks). The cafe has a nice atmosphere, and they dont mind if you stay for hours to study. Overall, its a cute place for breakfast or just a coffee date.

Wonderful. Short drive from the Sheraton Edison hotel. Huge cups of delicious coffee and hot chai tea latte that destroys Starbucks. Went for breakfast, have gluten free options and egg Benedict had perfect amount of hollandaise. Delicious home fries too. Will go back when in area. Very polite staff!

Drinks and food are really great, but maybe 15 minutes to closing the staff was practically pushing us out the door. The coffee is phenomenal though, so it might be to ones benefit to take their order to go.

Its a great lunch spot for me since I work nearby and have made a trip to it even on a day off! The hot vanilla chai tea latte is the best Ive ever had and the staff is friendly, helpful and wonderful.

Good breakfast menu with many healthy selections. Warm and courteous staff. The goat cheese tomato and spinach egg wrap was hot and delicious. Great coffee too! Free parking in the back.

Pretty good lunch spot, but the espresso drinks are not very authentic. In a good cafe, a cappuccino is roughly equal parts steamed milk and espresso, here youll get a giant cup of milk.
