I left Brooklyn years ago - thankfully Tommy followed me. The best, real, awesome Brooklyn bagels. They are crunchy outside and soft and doe-ey inside. This is not like everywhere else - bread shaped like a bagel. This is true, boiled then baked bagels. his new place, Tommys Bagels in Andee Plaza on route 33 and route 527 in Manalapan equally good, with room to sit down. I recommend Everything with Lox Spread, best when the bagel is still warm. Try a real bagel..

The bagel I got was actually pretty good. I went around 2:00pm so it wasnt the prime hour of fresh bagels, but it was still good. The staff seemed unhappy to be there and werent too friendly. Half way through my bagel with cream cheese, I discovered a hair and it made the rest of it completely in edible. I dont think I can ever go back because of it. Its a shame! If the staff were more cheery, I would have given them a much better review!

Very good bagels. You will not be disappointed. This is the best bagel place after Elis Hot Bagels in Matawan in the general area. Be warned unlike Elis there is not seating area/expanse inside this shop counter-serve shop. Also, the Elis shop on Route 9 is a fake and is not related to the original in Matawan to which I am comparing.

This small little bagel shop serves the absolute best tuna and the best fresh bagels... There both amazing and so tasty... I can eat here everyday and never get tired of it. The tuna is out of this world. And there not very expensive. Everybody should stop and try this little bagel shop in Manalapan.

Only reason I am giving this place any stars is because of its convenient location and rapid service. They cant even get your order right after I asked multiple times and they are not that friendly. Maybe they should focus on the customers wants and not rush you out the door...

Ive been going to this place since I was a child. I might be a little bias. That being said, Ive turned non-believers into believers. Were fortunate enough in central jersey to have this place (among others) that unintentionally turn us into snobs.

Place was suggested to me, had a tuna on whole wheat bagel, OH MY GOD !! DELICIOUS. Nice fresh bagel and tuna. Ill be back many times.
