I have been ordering from here for about six years and the food is great. Unfortunately I could only give three stars because the service. The last three times I have called the woman answering the phone has been unhelpful and rude. First, I called and asked to place an order for pick up, she placed me on hold for five minutes, came back on the phone and I asked again then she put me on hold again for seven more minutes. I figured she forgot about me so I hung up and called back and she placed me on hold for another five minutes! I finally hung up and went elsewhere. The second time she asked what time I wanted to pick up my lunch and I said 12:10. She said she couldnt put that time in because "they" would be mad at her. I asked her why it would take 40 minutes to make two sandwiches and she said it probably wouldnt but she put it in just to be safe? The third time she asked what time i wanted to pick up I said 12:15, a half hour from the time I had called. She preceded to tell me that the food takes 20-25 minutes to make so she is putting it in for 12:30?! I said I did not understand since the time I gave was 30 minutes away. She kept repeating the same thing and then said fine, Ill put it in for 12:15. Since they have gotten a "new system" the service has declined and the food takes twice as long as it used to according to this woman. If you do not want to take phone orders just say it up front. 1 time is a bad day, 2 times is an issue, 3 times is unacceptable and I will be going elsewhere for lunch.

We’ve been to this bakery several times for their deli. We used to rate the food quality as excellent but more recently it is just average. The service on the other hand has moved from above average to severally below average. Let me set the stage. There are a total of 7 workers behind the counters (it’s a big and long bakery), not including those “in the back” who prep, bake, etc. 3-4 out of those 7 employees are near or at the deli area. However, only one person will actually make sandwiches, provide cold cuts, or salads. And this one individual is VERY MEAN. He doesn’t acknowledge you or have any eye contact. There is a good chance this might be why other employee’s won’t get near or assist. He is also very slow so the line just backs up. Even though people were lined up before the 5pm cut off for the deli, he yelled at them to go away and just left. It’s just unbelievable; we’ve seen this happen the last two times we went. We will never return or recommend this place again.

food is fantastic but the service is HORRIBLE. The woman answering the phone has a very bad attitude, is rude and overall not pleasant. I thought it was a one time thing (a bad day for her or any possible reason for the poor service) but now it is the 4th time and still one of the worst services I have received in this area. I will take my business and companys orders somewhere else. All i wanted to do was place an order..... perhaps you should not be working with customers lady.

Amazing baked goods. Their confections are artwork intersecting with sweet delights. They offer a huge variety of cakes, small treats, cookies... and we havent even mentioned their breads and deli counter. In the summertime they have refreshing gelatos. Sorrentos is where you go when you want to purchase a quality dessert. They are always well stocked and are great when you need a cake on the fly, and you want it to taste heavenly. Stop in!! You wont regret it.

Es buen lugar pero preparan mucha mercancía y lo congelan para no desperdiciar. No tengo problema con eso si no k no se aseguran k este totalmente descongelado para la venta. Esto suele pasar especialmente en los pasteles.

I went there to order birthday cake for my daughter ,after a quite a long wait ,the lady who seemed very rude came over me and asked yes what do you want ,I started describing the cake and all and she just cut me in middle of conversation and said " send on email ..whoes next ".and handed some sort of card.I asked are you not taking order here " no no send email we will see then ".really what kind of service is that ,never ever going back .

Great place for cake and desserts. They also have a good deli and small grocer. Their made to order cakes are the best part in my opinion. The only reason I have them 4 stars instead of 5 is because their coffee is pretty bad. If they upgraded their coffee theyd get a solid 5 star review!

I ordered a cake and it was the wrong filling inside. The staff is very very rude and they dont say your welcome. they need to hire new people and get the old people out of there!!! will never order a cake from there again.

Pastry and bread are very good,however, on the other hand service is bad. Unorganized and no respect for the bread line "only" takes for ever to get a loaf of bread. Other great bakeries only few minutes away.

Being Italian, I have had my share of desserts, and Sorrentos is by far the best Ive had. Going tomorrow for some cookies for a family gathering. Would not consider going elsewhere!

Delicious!!!! We were there for the deli and had to get something sweet too! Brownie was slamming and the lobster tail was delicious. Beware there sandwiches are huge and yummy
