The food in this place is good but my experience wasnt the best. This happened the last saturday the 23th. My family and I stopped there to get some breakfast to go. My husband is a white guy, blond and blue eyes. Im Hispanic but Im also really white with dark hair. My family is visiting us from my country and they look pretty Hispanic bc obviously we are Hispanic and we feel proud of it. My husband was in the bathroom when we all were ordering bagels to go when he came out and really to pay the lady (cashier) gave him a smile and said.... Are you sure you are with them? Looking at my family........ That was the most racist comment that I ever hear!! My husband and I were kind of in shock so we didnt say anything. What kind of person do that? Im proud to be Hispanic and It was the first time in 6 years that I have been living in this country that someone makes me feel that bad and upset. What is the different between me and an American person? The color of my hair and my accent? I pay my taxes, Im a good citizen and the most important is that I respect everyone and expect the same...... ignorant people!....

Worst run business in Brigantine. Called in my order, was told it would be ready in 10 minutes so I waited 20 minutes before going to pick it up and it still wasnt ready! Today was the 4th, yes...4th time this has happened in the past month. Today was their last chance and they blew it, again! In fact, they hadnt even started my order, even though I waited 20 minutes before arriving. Ironically, the gentleman that walked in behind me placed an order that was also supposed to be ready and wasnt. He walked out as well and said this was his 3rd bad experience this summer. The sign says established in 2005, obviously theyre new owners, no way anyone could survive 11 years running a retail operation like this one. Do yourself a favor....... Go to Acme, but some bagels, egg, cheese, bacon. Then go back home and cook it all yourself, youll not only save money but youll eat 12 minutes sooner then you will if you attempt to buy from the establishment.

Worst bagel, it was old, honestly a defrosted frozen Lenders bagel is better. I went just as they opened so you would think the bagels would be fresh. I order a lox and cream cheese bagel; the menu says 8.50, I was charged 12.50. I asked about the price I was told the menu said 8.50, the board 10.50 but it rang up 12.50. There were two gentlemen behind me and the bagel was made or I would have said forget it. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a good bagel and thought lesson learned, but sadly it was a way below par bagel. This is our only disappointing experience at Brigantine; we have been coming here for years. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. This was the only place with bad food and equally or worse bad service.

Best beagles on the island, no question about it. If its peak summer season dont expect friendly banter from the young girls as they get super overwhelmed and cant seem to do more then one thing at a time. Regardless, most of the year the regular staff and owner are very nice...but again I dont go here for the staff. I go for the best bagels on the island.

The BIGGEST RIP-OFF ever. Extremely overpriced, paid $40 for 5 SMALL breakfast sandwiches and didnt even get the type of bagels we asked for. I could go on and on about our awful experience but just know not to go there. If youre in Brigantine looking for breakfast sandwiches, just go to the wawa right next to it. Way cheaper and much bigger and better.

The bagels are great, especially the breakfast sandwiches and the bagel with tuna, etc. for lunch. Sometimes a little chaotic behind the counter (I think its a family operation for the most part) but the end result is well worth the wait! The bagels are always chewy and fresh and they usually have a selection of fresh baked desserts, too!

Behind the counter the younger kids have foul mouthes & act like your bothering there conversation about partying & getting laid the night before. The food is usually better but it was thrown together so they could get back to there sex talk because I had to ask them to stop in front of my kids

That is supposed to be the brigantine beach special. Double meat Double egg double cheese. 3 slices of pork roll? If I got a regular sandwich would there b 1 n half slices of porkroll? Never going back not worth $7 plus a tip. Just lost a customer that went there a couple times a week.

The worst bagel Ive ever had. Tasted like a reheated frozen bagel. They also were out of all bagels except for a few everything bagels. Took about 20 minutes to get after I ordered even though nobody else was there. And the staff was VERY nasty. One star is generous
