Im from Germany and I visited the Astor Bar in Oct. 2011. The guys there was very nice, the bartender was also very nice and friendly. The drinks and the food was good and low-priced. Its an old classic american bar as known from some american movies. I liked it.

Debbie is the best. Value is amazing. Just had homemade potato wedges with her own corned beef, swiss cheese, homemade dressing. Unbelievable. Receives my recommendation unreservedly. Best in JC.

Not a fancy place, but they treat you right and it will not bust your wallet. Big Cheese likes it! The bartendar Chris looks like Mickey from the Rocky movies, only more beaten up. great place.
