Ate here with a friend and my mother on 6/08/17 last night. Food was really good and saitsfying, but why the one star review? Waitress was very slow and when we politely asked for the status of our food we were told "very shortly", only to receive our order 10+ minutes later. Then we waited an additional 30 minutes for our check after we ate. This isnt even the worst part. My friend ended up leaving his car keys there and after he and I called once separately asking if there were any car keys turned in, around midnight (they close at 2 btw), we were told that nobody turned in any keys nor were there any loose keys found at the restaurant. Well today, my friend called back around 10 this morning and was told that the keys were found 5 minutes after we left at the booth we sat at, and can come in at any time to pick them up. After arriving back at the restaurant this morning around 11:30, the hostess at the front said the person who found them went home and left the keys with the manager. "The manager doesnt get here until 3" my friend was told exactly, and what happens at 3? They tell him that the manager who SUPPOSEDLY has them doesnt get in until 5. Well, Its 4:37 PM now, so who knows what happens from here as I finish this review for this TGI sitting in the waiting area inside with both of us getting little to no help updates. Not even a simple apology for the miscommunication over a simple return.

At first glance, it looks like a very nice place. My waiter was very friendly but her service was not so great. Me and my daughter both ordered the endless appetizers. We ordered the chicken quesadillas first and asked what we wanted next which was boneless chicken. While waiting, we used the restrooms which were not very clean. We waited about 20 minutes before we received our boneless chicken. We figured it was ready first therefore came out first. They were very hard and dry. We didnt complain, just waited another 20 minutes for our waiter to return. Upon returning, she asked if we wanted anything else. Confused, we let her know we were still waiting on the first item we ordered which took another 15 minutes. Weve now been there for nearly am hours and had only 2 items from our endless meal. The place was about half capacity if that. At this point, I no longer wanted to eat, my daughter ordered some potstickers. Again, it took another 20 minutes. I asked (another waiter because ours was no where to be found) to speak to a manager. Instead, the waitress comes and asked whats the problem, appearing slightly annoyed. I let her know about the food and how I felt about the service. She said the manager was busy and offered a free desert which took another 20 minutes to receive. A manager never came to our table. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

The last two times that I have chose to eat at this Fridays located on Gill Lane were terrible. The first time I ate there, the food came out in a decent time and every thing seemed alright. HOWEVER, awhile later at home EVERYONE who went to eat with me got FOOD POISONING. DIARRHEA and THROWING UP.. It lasted for about 3-4 days! The second time I ate there, the food and service was horrible. The food took 45 minutes to be served and when I was finally served my food, it was COLD and not fresh at all. The food looked like it sat out for 30 minutes and dumped in a microwave for 10 seconds (it was still cold). I noticed that the management was apologizing to many customers. Also, many customers were getting their food TO-GO, because of how long the wait was. This was simply unacceptable, I do not know if all Fridays are like this one but I would hope not. Two bad experiences about a year apart from each other, coincidental? I think not. I am never going to this Fridays location ever again.

Wow where do I start with this place, the night I ate here was some of the worst service Ive ever received anywhere, rude and lazy are just two words to describe the staff here, seriously. If you need for evidence of how bad it is here, I accidentally left my keys there and usually when this happens, the staff has the keys ready for me, I walk in, take the keys, walk out, done, but no, they say out waitress had out keys, and magically lost them somehow, which I bet went against their company policy to give any lost items to the manager for safe keeping, they told me they dont care, that its my problem. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO SHOCKED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. They absolutely do not care about their costumers, the staff are lazy and uncaring, they are there for the tips, that is all, they have 0 passion for helping people and I hope they close because people deserve so much more than their "quality" service. PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Terrible experience at the Fridays on Rt. 1 in Woodbridge, NJ... as soon as you walked in you saw the place was dirty, had to wait about 3-5 minutes for the host to meet us at the front to seat us, had to grab utensils from another table for us to eat, bathroom was ridiculously filthy, couldnt even stand straight to urinate without my feet slipping the floors were so wet with urine, was offered plastic spoons because they didnt have the silverware, was offered mozzarella sticks then was charged for it, asked for a manager to express my experience but learned she was in the back cooking due to shortage of employees, my bill was brought to zero but still feel as though I should tell the truth of my experience since Google asked, and its more about the principle than the money. Fridays you are better than this! Fix it!

The service was great but, the reason why i didnt rate them with 5 stars because I wanted a gold medalist as my drink and they were out of bananas then, i ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp, they were out of mashed potatoes, which are my all time favorite side and lastly they didnt have any peppers and onions. The explanation was the items were still on the truck and it wont be off the truck for another hour and a half. I understand it was 12:30 in the afternoon but, come on now customers come into eat. Several customers came in and walked out. TGI FRIDAYS IN ISELIN, PLEASE TRY HARDER NEXT TIME.. I STILL HAVE HOPE IN THE RESTAURANT!!

The food was really good. The burger was soft and the appetizers were amazing. I wouldnt recommend the mac n cheese though. Its breaded and tasteless to me but Im sure there are others who would love it. I didnt like how it took forever for my side to come. We were finished when it finally arrived and the drinks took a while as well. Plus the waiters kept forgetting us. We asked several times for them to sing HBD to my mom and nothing. My mom said she wouldnt go back because of these things. I loved the food but service has to get better with their timing and the importance of customers present.

I go to this fridays quite often and, the service is usually fair/good but, during my visit last night with family service was extremely poor. We recieved every bit of food cold nothing was fresh, it must have been sitting in the window for 30 mins or more. Sizzeling chicken and cheese stone cold!! We used a coupon for oneof the 6 app we orders and the manager said it was fake, that they are corporate and the fridays that gave us the coupons was franchise. Accusted of fake coupons by a manager thats not professional at all. That will be my last visit to that trashy establishment
