American Melts is an awesome little place, its only the size of a shed but the food is out of this world. It has some nice outdoor seating if you want to eat there. They have at least a dozen different melts, everyone of them are amazing. I love Reubens, and have had at least 50 different reubens, but American Melts Reuben is by far the best I have ever had. Pricing is very fair. If you have not tried American Melts I highly recommend it.

Very small shed, almost drove right by it but thrilled that I didnt! My coworkers and I have had a few sandwiches from AM and so far they have all been fantastic. Plus, you can pick from loads of options on the menu and create your own grilled cheese, how cool is that? Wonderfully friendly staff, cute little patio area to eat at if you choose to stay. Give this place a shot, it will be well worth it!!!

Best grilled cheese in Union County for sure. Probably the best grilled cheese in New Jersey. The word "delicious" does the food a disservice. The owner is friendly and awesome. They have many many choices and one sandwich is enough to fill you up, though youll want more! I highly recommend going here if you ever have the opportunity. Its an experience not to be missed.

First time customer. I ordered the Dusk/Dawn with roasted turkey. The first thing I noticed was the high quality of the ingredients. The caramelized onions really hit the spot. The sandwich bread was greasy just the way you want it. You have my business. Thank you. (Im posting this while eating my sandwich watching joggers jog by)

If youre looking for quick and inexpensive bite, this is the place to go. I usually order over the phone for pick up and they always have my food ready at the time they say. The quality that goes into making these delicious grilled cheese sandwiches is amazing. Great food, great service and great prices make it unbeatable!

Quality meats and cheeses with awesome crisp on your bread that is meant to enjoyed the minute it comes off the griddle. Theres free parking and a patio outside to enjoy these delicious sandwiches. And boy these sandwiches are good. I tried their Stone Pony sandwich and mm mmm ooeey, gooey, cheesy goodness!
