The owners wanted feedbavk so here goes. Went to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Service very slow. I get it that staff is new and in training so that didnt bother us. They tried hard to be sure we were pleased. We brought our own wine and it gave us a chance to chat. Brought out extra bread when asked. The carrot cake was excellent. My husband had the chicken francaise, it needed more lemon flavor but was good. I had the gluten free penne vodka, didnt like the brand of pasta, had a rice flavor and the vodka sauce needed more flavor. We will go back for the atmosphere and to give them another try. New menu coming out in january. Its a new place so you need to be understanding. Cant judge it on on one visit. Id suggest everyone to give it another try.

The food was good but the service was extremely slow. It took a long time between courses to be served. The waitress was very apologetic but lacked skills. We asked for extra sauce for he ravioli but never received it. They lacked organization. All in all wont return because of their slow service.

Loved this place. We are so used to processed and frozen food when we go out that we expect fast service. When food is home made and made from scratch it takes time, and man was it worth it. The food here is incredible and the atmosphere is so upbeat.

We just had a fabulous meal tonight at The Family Bistro in Hillsborough. Its a BYO. They have an extensive menu, and everything is fresh and made to order. Chef Carlos will also cater to any special requests. Dont miss this Gem!
