My favorite restaurant. My wife and i are so happy that it is back. I am a vegan and i get the same thing every time that i go and it is absolutely fantastic every time. Chef Mohamed make the best falafel that you will ever have. It is made with fava beans and it is magical. The ful medames are incredibly tasty and the texture is so unique for a bean dish. I am a spicy freak and the long hot pepper side dish done in parsley, garlic and oil is tough to beat. A bowl of olives can top off your meal. A full bar is a plus. The only downside about this place is that i eat too much every time i go and i feel like such a fat kid. Not Chef Mos fault, just my lack of will power to stop eating. PLEASE EAT AT THE GOLDEN PYRAMID!!

My boyfriend was so excited that the Golden Pyramid was reopening as was his sister and brother in law. I had never experienced eating Egyptian cuisine before the Golden Pyramid, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. I ordered veal marsala which was accompanied by two types of rice which was out of this world. Next time I go, which will be very soon, I know I will be willing to try something more exotic from this extraordinary chef. Well done!

The food is absolutely amazing! The complexity of flavors almost overwhelms you but you have no choice than to enjoy all the flavors. Anything stuffed with crab will be delicious. The lamb stew was plentiful and delicious. The tahini sauce and all the other dips were so good as well. The location itself is nothing fancy. You dont go there for the ambiance but for the food!

First, you cant really just show up at Jimmys and eat. You need to understand how it works: First, you get in line at the butcher counter and order your sandwich and get a receipt; then you go pick up chips, a soda, a beer, whatever else you want and take it and your receipt up to the front counter...

We have dined at Golden Pyramid several times since its opening. Each time we have had a wonderful dinning experience, the food and service is fantastic. The portions are HUGE, you will never leave there full! The menu is large and covers a variety of ethnic cultures. TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Our meal tonight began with pita bread and Egyptian dips. Falafel and stuffed grape vine leaves were excellent appetizers. Delicious soup, followed by entree, perfectly cooked kofta with fresh vegetables and Egyptian lasagna. Terrific meal, will be back soon.

Its easy to make "good" food, but this chef has a firm grasp of subtlety. He is an artist. Hardy food, generous portions, and unique flavors/combinations make this place unique.
