This place is old and rickety, the floors lean toward the cliff its built on. Its heated primarily by a portable home depot propane heater in the middle of the floor as you walk in. The food is below average, even the wings have a breading on them and soaked in a vingery hot sauce like Franks brand or similar. The bathroom was built in 1950 and hasnt been updated since. Anyone that thinks this place has great food is comparing it to Burger King, which probably has better selection. Sorry, try Ship Lantern Inn if you want top notch food in Marlboro area.

We celebrated a birthday here recently and really enjoyed ourselves. There is a full bar, nice selection of beer both on tap and in the bottle. The menu is standard American fare with daily specials. Everyone we were with enjoyed thier meals. The portions are very large. Prices are reasonable and staff very professional. The setting is cozy and there is arr great views.

Been going here for years since my wife worked in Marlboro. They have the absolute best burgers in the area and it doesnt stop there. My wife LOVES the salmon and other seafood there. Make sure you sit outside or near the window for the view of the waterfall below and the Hudson river in the distance.

I think Restruraunt Impossible needs to visit this place. I dont know where they decided that they can take their good old time with service but I think they are resting on their laurels of a good past. Somebody please pick up the pace, lower the prices, and kill the dust bunnies!

Heard so much about this place so we finally went today and got what everyone talks about Burgers. $55 two burgers, two ice teas, one beer and a slice of pie. Kinda expensive. Not a processed burger but I felt it was lacking flavor. Idk if we would return.

a weekend in the valley was made much more pleasant by this place. looks a bit downtrodden, but dont let that sway you. food was quite good, and bar is hopping. we enjoyed it immensely. big cuts of meat, and perfectly grilled. great sides.

Awesome food was great as always. My waitress was awesome, (the owners daughter lol) not sure of the spelling of her name starts with a m. McKenzie. Guessing. Shes all grown up and a great addition to the restaurant.

Great burgers but that is not all the serve. I have been pleasantly surprised to see the wide variety of choices for entrees. My only complaint is that the specials were not ready by 430 so I had a burger.

My family and I used to love going to racoon saloon. They have excellent food, I will give them that, but I think that it is very expensive there. Now, I do not go there anymore for the pricey food.
