We have been going to this place for almost more than 4 years now. It was new then, but the preparation was always good and we gave all our party orders from here. Till date, we were ordering from here and picking up for all our family and friends in all parts of NJ. So, it was very very disappointing to see the quality go down so much (not sure if mgt has changed, but we do see new faces).I ordered Chinese (the worse ever nd was bad/not freshly made just when opened) for my daughters bday party for adults. Ordered hakka noodles, fried rice nd veg manchurian. All was stale. Genuinely called them a day later to inform and wanted to know what went wrong (didnt want to form an opinion being a customer for so long). Was assured a call back but its been more than a week , and havent heard anything. Serving stale food (order was placed 2 nights ago, dunno if that was the mistake),not explaining or getting back. .not very acceptable.. With this world, with so many options around you,why would a customer wanna ever go back and why wouldnt they spread the bad word to save their friend and families.(the word is always spread. .when you do good and when you fail to deliver). So decided to leave a review as it does help many.

We wanted to have a quick lunch last Sunday and decided to go to Paradise for the first time. Unlike most of the central NJ indian restaurants the place has very balanced decor. Ethnic colors on wall, warm colors in tablecloth looks very charming. In buffet, there was not too many dishes out there. If I am recalling correctly, they had Aloo Mashala, Uttapam, Sambar, Paneer Sagwala, Rajma, Veg Kofta, Veg Biryani, Plain Rice, Butter Chicken Mashala, Lamb Roganjosh, Goat Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, rasgulla and rice pudding. Aloo mashala was okay so is sambar...pretty average.Paneer dish, veg kofta was pretty good. Goat biryani was just amazing, perhaps the best I have ever had in US. Unlike most places, lamb roganjosh was spicy and hot- the way it should be and it was darn good. While the main course food was really good, desert section was barebones. Rasgulla was very hard and teh rice pudding was not even decent. However, for $10 for a weekend lunch buffet it was perhaps the best indian food around Princeton.

Considering the highly rated reviews, went with my family on Sunday at 7pm...restaurant was not crowded, there were only one other family. Considering that, 1) Customer service was horrible...no one bothered to service the customer at all...we had to call atleast 5 times and had to wait a long time each time. The person incharge of Customer service was forced to do too many tasks - 1) pick up customer call and take out order 2) clean up the tables and vessels upfront 3) taking care of order...the person spent the majority time on the 1st two tasks. 2) Food We ordered Biryani and lot of other dishes and the food was not tasty at all. 3) Cleanliness Bathroom was very dirty to say the least........ In short, for what they serve, the price is high. I have lived in NJ since 1998 and eaten at many NJ restaurants..and this was my worst experience ever at the restaurant and my first review on the net.

hey i luv this place, its pretty good and the food is awesome but the only thing it lacks is service. There was a ugly short black fat guy who was very rude to me, when i asked him to get some thing he said wait it will take time just directly on my face as if he would slap me if i ask him again. thats not it when i asked him to change the plates that i have eaten the appetizers and the tandoori chicken in , he said "we dont change plates in our restaurant" and left just like that when i was still talking to him. then i had to cal an other waiter and asked him to change the plates and he changed the plates instantly with a smile on his face.so the only thing i tell you is go to this persis restaurant only to have great food but dont expect any thing else and try staying away from that fat black guy with the red t-shirt.

Let me start off by saying I am a huge Indian food buff and I love buffets because I love to eat. Never have I ever been to an indian buffet as poor as this one. I was very suprised to see that most of the patrons were Indian themselves because although the food was authentic, it was not prepared well and Id go so far as to say it was old. In addition, the condition of the womens bathroom was horrendous. While walking back there I nearly fell on the hard wood floor. Someone must have spilled a while back and it was not cleaned well so it remained a slippery spot. The only good thing about this restaurant was the fresh naan and the costco water bottles they delivered to the table.

This is for the one in Columbia, SC Oh my goodness. What a great place for Indian food. My husband and I went there last night. We had the lamb biryani and chicken persis tikka. They were both absolutely wonderful. The meats were so tender that they melted in your mouth. The seasonings were perfect. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The owner came over and introduced himself and gave us recommendations, which is what we ordered. The serving sizes are large. We both ended up taking part of our meals home. Their prices are great, especially for the amount that you get. This was the best new restaurant experience weve had. We will be returning frequently.

I was highly disappointment today when visited this place because few days back I bought a deal from Groupon and it was valid only at Persis Briyani Hamilton which was far away from my place but still me and my family were excited to go and have some good time but unfortunately they told we do not accept Groupon however it was valid. My only concern is that they were too much rude as if people are beggar who by Groupon and visit their restaurant. They would not have posted the deal on Groupon if they do not accept. Guys please try to learn how to behave with customer!!!

Very good taste, Authentic Indian Food, Fresh. I have ordered food from here for my daughters birthday party, I live 2 hours from this restaurant, The delivery was great, Food was very warm and fresh, everyone enjoyed the food and complimented us. Both the Quality and quantity was great, He have us more free appetizers and entree dishes. The price was unbelievably cheap, nominal delivery charges as well. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Very tasty food here. I love their lunch buffet. They always have a nice selection of entrees (tandoori, biryani, kormas, etc), rice, salads, appetizers, chutneys, desserts and even have Papad in addition to Naan at the lunchtime buffet. Their customer service is excellent too, from the person who greets and seats you, to the wait staff who take away your used plates. As a "local", I am so happy that Persis is in my neighborhood!

I have been to many Indian restaurants even in India. The food here is outstanding. I hope that they open up chains all over NJ. It is hard to find South Indian food and this place does it well as well as typical North Indian dishes. I am moving about 45 minutes further south in NJ and I guarantee it wont stop me from coming here again. Finger licking good food. Unreal!
