I had lunch there yesterday and it was a delight. The two 2 star reviews are simply rediculous. If you go to a sushi restaurant expecting hot food you are in the wrong restaurant. Go get some Kushiage if you expect some hot meat. The other reviewer ate $22 worth of food then complained about the price. Go to Genji Express in Whole Foods if you want inexpensive sushi. Now that that is out of the way... The was simply the best sushi I have had in some time. The bar is stunning and the service was excellent. Each pice of fish was exquisitely prepared and I appreciate the delicacy of the cuts. The ginger dressing is to die for. The negamaki was beautifully presented and cooked. I had a variety of nigiri, tuna maki, and some salmon avacado rolls. For the amount of food I ate the price was fair. I do wish since they are open for lunch that there were a few more reasonably priced specials. It doesnt have to be a 3 roll special for $10 but for the quality I would easily pay $15 for 2 rolls. I will recommend this fine restaurant to anyone. On a side note: I cant believe Haddonfield is still a dry county! People would go out of their way to come from the city if they could enjoy a Sapporo with their delicious meal. Silly Blue laws. Fuji all the way!

Owners have changed. Its owned by Chinese, not Japanese. No bow, no polite greeting. If one knows Japanese culture, this is not Japanese style. Apps were good. Sushi was good. The Chilean sea bass special was marinated in miso. When split, it smelled strongly of ammonia. Person sitting next toe smelt it from her seat. When asked, the waitress said that was the miso. I thought it was old fish soaked in miso to hide the smell. Didnt have that delicious buttery and soft flavor of CSB. Tough and dry. Very disappointing. The teriyaki salmon was enjoyed as were the rolls. Most Japanese restaurants give pineapple or orange slices, very fresh. Not even a mint here. Crowds werent here as with prior owners. Lacks the charm. I find most Japanese/sushi places are Chinese run. Sagami is still the gold standard.

Truely Great Japanese food - rivals the quality of anything in North America. The freshest of fish, and really authentic cooked food. Both the Sushi and Sukiyaki are as good as those that I have had in Japan. If you like sushi, I recommend going for the Omakase meal and leaving yourself in the chefs hands (he will choose the freshest & best assortment of everything). Or do the same yourself by ordering multiple small dishes, and asking which are the dishes that he particularly recommends. A recent special worth looking for: some small oysters (whose name escapes me) with Ponzu dipping sauce - by far the best oysters I have ever had. There may be fancier Japanese restaurants (though the new digs are a big improvement) but there are no better!

I wouldnt go anywhere else for sushi. The fish is always so fresh and the highest quality. I have been to the highest priced places in the city(philly) and most of the local joints in the jersey suburbs, and nothing comes close to the overall quality and experience at Fuji. I feel like each time I go there the fish is better than the last time. They have all the regular types of fish, and always something that is rarely found elsewhere. The sushi chefs/owners make this place even better by creating a very unique atmosphere that is fun, educational, and very relaxing. They will accomodate almost any request. I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar, its like going to class on Japanese cuisine.

The sushi is the finest, freshest sushi I have ever had. The chef is creative and always has interesting and delicious specials. Every time I go to Fuji I feel like I am on a japanese vacation. The large variety of fresh fish is amazing. I have had fish at Fuji that I just havent had anywhere else. Also, the food from the kitchen is unique and very, very tasty. It is family owned and operated and that too makes a difference to me. It is a relaxed, no rush atmosphere. I try to get there once or twice a month. I cannot imagine going to any other sushi restaurant. This is an authentic japanese restaurant. Portions are perfect.

The first time I had sushi was at this restaurant at their old location in Cinnaminson. NJ. It was my late Grandfathers favorite restaurant and continues to be a favorite among my family. There is seriously nothing on the menu you can order that isnt an absolute delight. Their specials are always worth trying, if you like exciting new delicacies. The service staff is great. Very relaxed and quiet atmosphere and the food is absolutely impeccable. Wonderful presentation and selection of dishes.

First time at Fuji ordering Chirashi to go.. Usually I go to Mikado however they are renovating their location on Rt 70. I decided to give my business to Fuji and was unfortunately disappointed. 75% of my tray of food was rice!. 2 pieces of egg, 12 pieces of paper thin small assortment of other fish. $22 is a bit high for fish sliced so thin. I will say however fish is fresh. Usually i am full b/f I eat all my fish. Not the case here.

The food was yummy but we waited for our food for quite some time. We had a group of maybe 15people and one friend got his plate maybe 5 min after everyone else even when another person got the same dish..

Dont just get something like a spicy Tuna roll that you find everywhere . Sit at the bar and order. Even better, do the omakase. Best sushi/sashimi in the area
