Once upon a time, this restaurant was considered so-so for its all-you-can eat specials and interesting hibachi shows; mostly though it was for no other reason than the enthusiastic sushi chef who used to be there took pride in showing off what he could do with the materials he had at his disposal. Sound the death knell. Now, it seems, that the food and moreover the service have almost certainly doomed this place to face certain closing. The charming sushi chef is gone, and with him went the reasonably marginal sushi...hey, whatdaya want for all you can eat? I hear what youre saying. Still, when you pay money to be served sushi and sashimi, you dont expect the fish to be spoiled. No joke, folks...it was. Even the wasabi and soy sauce couldnt mask the spoiled, garbage- can taste some of the food had. Maybe we should be grateful that the server came to our table and told us that we ordered too much food. We were saved from having to choke down spoiled fish. As a side note, it is most annoying when servers tell a diner that he/she has ordered too much food. A sampling of different items from around the menu is not too much food. But, isnt that the main objective of a restaurant? Order food, pay for food, restaurant makes money. I guess not here. Again we were told we ordered too much food. I hear what youre saying...theyre not making money if diners order a lot of food at one low price....nonetheless, it simply seems rude to call out diners in front of other diners. Little decorum, lots of disrepect...wasnt like we ordered everything on the menu...just a sampling. In the end, with the spoiled taste of most of the food including the pickled ginger, I am glad we didnt get everything we ordered. I know well never eat here again. Id advise you to do the same. Any restaurant that puts profit above quality and service should be avoided.

We visited Ginza fairly late into the evening but before closing to try out the all you can eat sushi. There was a fairly light crowd but the atmosphere was appropriate for the venue. We were a little rushed into making a decision that ended up being costly for us, as they charged us for two all you can eats instead of one. The menu was a little confusing as well which didnt help the situation. When we did receive food a lot was fried which was a little disappointing and the rolls with cream cheese had way to much. The rice was fresh but the salmon was warm. Overall the quality was a little lacking for the price tag unless you really went all in on the all you can eat. We couldnt really determine how "fresh" a lot of the ingredients were as they were warm and thus hard to make a good determination. We probably wouldnt go back for the price tag, but I guess overall it wasnt an awful experience.

Definitely not what they once were... my husband and always go to ginza, same with our friends. Living in south jersey we dont have too many options but lately their service is horrible, today when we were seated it took 20 minutes before we got our menus then another 15 before we got our drinks, that were flat. Then we waiting even longer before we were asked if we have been waited on.... The sushi chef as an attitude from hell and was making nothing but mistakes on everyones orders... I sat there and watched him argue with the servers and customers because they didnt get sushi that they ordered... the reply from the waitress was that the sushi cook is always rude and that there is never any action take for his poor attitude....

This was the most rudest, uncaring, customer service Ive EVER experienced IN MY LIFE!! I should have walked out when it took them 10 mins to seat me (no one waiting, staff members looked at me and kept working). Then I sat for over 40 minutes waiting for my order. When I called the waitress over her response was "Oh someone forgot to take your order to the back " Meanwhile another customer came in, just one, was seated immediately, and had food within 10 minutes. My boss suggested this place but Id never go back and will never recommend this restaurant to my family, coworkers, not even my worst enemies!!!

I often go to the all you can eat sushi lunch special and its really an awesome deal. Its only $15, the entire sushi menu is available, and some of the special rolls cost $10 on their own. If you love sushi, and can eat 2 or 3 big rolls on your own, then this is a great deal. You can also get tea, ice cream, and an appetizer. I highly recommend the "American Dream" roll. Ive never had another roll like it anywhere else and its the bomb! The atmosphere and food are awesome. The staff is very polite, but they take a long time between visiting your table.

Got the Hibachi Shrimp and Chicken combo. Came with a sad salad, which was pre-made hours or days ago, clear soup (which was just hot water with a slight vegetable mushroom taste) Chicken was blad and without flavor, the sauce helped deguise the lousy chicken, best part was the grilled shrimp and rice which was just average. Considering this combo plus tax was $25 it was not worth it. This place seems just a step above a Yoshinoya!

Food is decent. Service is extremely slow! We waited 40 minutes just for the waiter to get our order for drinks. It took another hour for the cook to finally get out to the hibachi grill. While other Japanese hibachi would just use oil, they cook their food in a ton of butter and oil. The butter caused the food to become greasy and obviously even more unhealthy. Restaurant is not recommended.

Food is good and makes my stomach quite satisfied. I would like more food choices though. Their menu is very limited and the pricing is rather high than other sushi places. The atmosphere is OK but it could be better. They placed me and my friends over barbecue table when we only wanted sushi. Yes they serve hibachi and or barbecue here but it isnt that great.

This place was ok. Not as good as Ginza I. Tried both this week and the food was much better at the original. To note though, weve only had hibachi to both. I had other things besides, but the only thing that was the same at both was hibachi. Servuce was ok at both. Slightly better at this location. Overall not bad. Hibachi was still tasty and decent portions.

The food here is normally very good just like the first Ginza. Ive been a regular at the first Ginza for awhile and decided to try here although I was very disappointed. The service wasnt all that good. The chef was very boring and dont do many tricks and it took a long time to get our food. I would recommended going to the first Ginza over this one.

The food is almost always excellent but the service is hit or miss. Sometimes its PAINFULLY slow when youre trying to eat. And the servers are also hit or miss, some of them are very polite and some of them are horrifically rude. But if youre not in a rush and you want good Japanese food, this is probably the best place in this area.

Loved the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet here. Extremely good value considering the quality of food theyre giving you. Great sushi, great soups -- every item we tried was great, actually. We were very impressed, and we plan on visiting Ginza every time were in the area.
