El Rinconcito is a small Mexican American restaurant. We had lunch while it was very empty. The only other patrons we saw all were picking up orders. We ordered an appetizer of ceviche which was pretty good. Im actually not sure what are other places in the area which serve ceviche. My main course was a plate of various things which included: rice, beans, thin beef, thick pork belly, fried eggs, and a plantain. I thought it was pretty good and filling. The beef was a little thin, but overall, it was good. My wife got some order of chicken fried rice and fries. We also shared a can of some fruit based soda which I dont remember. The service was fine. We only interacted with one employee since the restaurant was very empty. But on the positive side, she gave us the remote so we could watch whatever we wanted on their television. Overall, the food and service were good. Id definitely return.

The chicken gorditas I had were excellent. Full of flavor and the portion size was very good for the price. Chips and salsa very tasty as well. People who work there go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your food and service. Great find in Edison if you are in the mood for Mexican food. They have an extensive menu all different types of food, not just Mexican. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat real homemade Mexican cuisine instead of chain food. You know you are at a real Mecican restaurant when they have soda in glass bottles. Will definitely come back!

We ordered take out. Since discovering here last month we cant get enough. The food is clean and fresh to the palate (please note I havent tasted everything on the menu). Not overloaded with salt or oily goopy sauces. Portions are decent and pricing is very good. Weve gotten food from here at least 5 times in the past month.

Its the second time we ordered delivery from here, and must say the food is delicious! Husband said the bandeja paisa is excellent! I had the beef tacos and those were very tasty as well. Not to mention, we were shocked at how fast delivery was!!! Thanks so much. Will def order again from here.

The carnita tacos and rice & beans were delicious!!! Rice pudding delish! They had a bunch of latin drinks and so much to pick from. Jimmy and Alverado are great and make awesome food. A must try!
