Worst customer service ever. First of all, the place is filthy and bugs were all over the place. There is no waiter, so be prepared to wait for atleast 15-20 minutes after being seated to place an order. After placing an order, we waited about another 30 minutes to get the food. The food was just over salty and looked stale. Manchurian was extra salty and it was horrible. So, we decided to not to eat it and asked for replacement. Owner started yelling from the kitchen that its not salty and its fine and blamed on us that we did not want to pay for it. Rather than replacing it, we ended up not paying for it because of owners attitude. I am not sure what is he proud more about is worst food or filthy restaurant. Worst place to dine in or take out. Never recommend to anyone. Read below, i am not the first one to experience this.

Ordered a Veg fried rice. It regular rice tossed in red chilie sauce, with few peas. No other vegetables what so ever. Overall it might be 50 cents for the cost, 50 cents for share of restaurant cost and labor, total 1 dollar cost. It was charged $15 with taxes. Place is cranked up for seating, not a luxury not even decent seating, just a fast food sit out type. did not understand why the place was charging $12 + taxes for a basic dish. Similar dish with far more vegetables will cost $3.95 in a Chinese takeout. Now I know why Indian restaurants are failing, they do not have or very few repeat customers. I wish I can give at least 3 stars, but this place nor the owners attitude warrants for a single star, 2 *s is being extra nice. Will appreciate if owner can greet customers, and not stare at them.

The owner Reena of this restaurant is extremely rude and arrogant. The food is good, but not good enough to warrant such behavior to customers. I once called in an order having mistaken their North Brunswick location Chopsticks III for Chopsticks (Edison) and she began chastising me for not knowing the correct number. The food isnt bad, but I really stand by not eating at restaurants when customer service is extremely lacking as well. Business owners need to realize that it is not only the product that makes them successful, but also in the manner that it is served. I would not give another dime of profit to these people and would rather find a location that can at least talk to others- particularly customers- like they are living, breathing, intelligible human beings.

As other reviewers have stated Chopstick is an Indian owned Chinese / Thai / Malaysian restaurant (also known as Indo-chinese). I thought it was a nice change from what I normally get. The different curries sounded decent to me, we ended up getting beef rendang, masala rice, haka noodles, and tom yum soup. You can choose your level of spiciness too, which is cool. it is a cafe style carry-out joint, the tableware was plastic utensils, plastic containers and styrofoam cups. The only water available was from a jug-dispenser. Prices were fair, around 8 - 11 dollars for each portion. I might go try another indo-chinese place, but probably not this one.

horrible place...first of all it looks like a dump...second the food was disgusting..for the price it was definitely not worth it. i went for lunch and they tell me i cant take the lunch special to go..what kind of place doesnt let you do lunch take out? finally the food was average at best. nothing special..it was very sweet as if they just dumped all the cornstarch in the food. i will never recommend this place to anyone..even my worst enemy. go to Ming down the road. food is 100 times better ...and really nice ambiance. and they let you do lunch special takeout...what a concept!?!

Ive been to this place 4 or 5 times. The first couple of times the food was amazing. Then it started to go down in quality for some reason or whatever. But after this latest visit, I think the chili paneer and the veg manchurian is better than it was before. The food has gone back to its delicious taste and quality. Location is cozy and has nice decor. Great place for a couple of friends to hang out. Prices are slightly high but very fair for the quantity and quality you get. I highly recommend this place to anyone who visits this area if you enjoy Indo-Chinese food.

Growing up in the mecca of " INDO CHINESE Food " - KOLKATA/Calcutta , all i can say .... The taste brings back memory from Kolkatas china town. I have been trying this place for the last 1 year and never i have found quality or taste mismatch which is a true marksmanship of a good restaurant. I cannot comment on Thai food as i have never tried it. if you expect , south indian style chinese ( with Curry leaves in it ) then this is not a place for you ...but if you want authentic Indo chinese ..definitely a must try.

The food at this Indo-Chinese restaurant reminded me of a Chinese restaurant back home. We ordered fried rice, dry chilly paneer, vegetarian Lo mein, hot and sour soup, veg manchurian, and couple other dishes-- all of the dishes were delicious. They all were flavorful and rightly spicy. Very reasonably priced and quantity of food was very good. The server was attentive. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place if you are craving for Indo-Chinese food.

I wish I could give a rating worse than "poor". We ordered food for take out and I am strict vegetarian. They added eggs to my veg hakka noodles and the person who took my order said that he is pretty confident that thats not the case! To crown it all, when I called the owner to reimburse the cost, he asked me not to show up at the restaurant anymore!!!! The owner and staff need to take customer-service training!

I had been looking for an authentic Indo-chinese restaurant in the US, and Chopstick has been the best so far. The food we had was the closest to the chinese food in Mumbai. The owner was very friendly and recommended Chilly chicken as an appetizer, and it was great! The Schezuan rice and the veg manchurian gravy were simply brilliani! If anyone is craving for Indian Chinese food, this place is a must visit!!!

To start with it was the most filthy restaurant i have ever been to. The food was disgusting and tasteless. The side sauce came with an insect in it. Lastly, 15% gratuity was added for a table of 3 without any good service. When argued about it, the server told us that owner had impiled that rule. Worst restaurant on oak tree..Wish google had something less degrading than 1 star.

A home away from home. One of my favorite places to visit when I am in Edison, NJ. My family and I frequent Edison and this is the one place we always head to no matter what we are feeling that day. This shop is a bit small, but the quality of the food more than makes up for this. A great place to try Indo-Chinese and definitely a place to go to if you happen to be in Edison, NJ.

I visited this place first time and was impressed with their food taste. First time in US I tasted the real Delhi-like Indo-Chinese taste with Gobhi-Manchurian dry, chilli chicken dry. They didnt try to rip me off like other famous Indian restaurant who charge a lot for small portion.Their have priced their item decently and good quantity. Im gonna visit their soon.
