Full disclosure, we showed up late, but not THAT late. We even called ahead to make sure. The woman on the phone confirmed that they are open until 930 but their last seating is at 9. We got there around 840. The restaurant was empty, the cooks were eating, and they were clearly getting ready to close as soon as possible. We understood and were willing to tip accordingly. First, our waitress was very kind and the gentleman that took our order was OK, too. But our chef? He might as well have spit in our food in front of our eyes! Part of hibachi is the show and we got none of that. Nothing. We wouldve been fine with this considering the time, but the food! He seasoned nothing. He made basically zero effort to cut my steak. He spent so little time cooking the vegetables that our onions were raw. He quickly cooked the rice and noodles without salting anything but absolutely DROWNED them in sauce. I couldnt even finish my portion. When we saw that he didnt use seasoning on the starches, my wife asked if I could request some extra garlic on our protein. He just snickered and he put a HUGE heap of chopped garlic on my steak as if to punish us for asking for it. It was ridiculous. And to add more insult to injury, he was so haphazardly throwing the food when he was putting it on our plates that he ended up flinging rice and noodles everywhere. This was our one night out and while we get that we were there kind of late, we asked ahead! And I think 50 minutes before closing is not in any way unreasonable. But even so, do your job! Seriously. We paid our hard earned money for an experience we didnt get and a meal that was so poorly prepared, we couldnt even finish it. If you were going to do that, why not just ask us to not come in? Needless to say, we will never ever be returning and we would highly recommend another place unless you show up several hours before they close so that you dont annoy the chefs and incur their wrath. Try elsewhere... For us... Please.

Unimpressive. All Food had brown sauce added which was heavy and salty. I was looking for plain noodles or rice to counter the taste...found none. Less impressive was the cook. Each one...as we got to watch other tables as well as ours was a well rehearsed, mechanically delivered cooking routine. When I asked if the shrimp be cooked last due to my allergy to shellfish, they insisted on bringing me a plate from the kitchen. Eventually, they complied but had to be convinced it could work. We also encountered the same stiff attitude upon entering and not having a reservation...we were 1 of 3 families in the whole restaurant on a Friday night at 6. Were they expecting a party of 60 at 6:30? Seriously? We talked our way in and got seated. Only 1 other party of 6 was seated during our meal. Not a popular place. Disappointed on every front: hospitality, food, show, professionalism. We will not return and have already put the negative word out among friends.

My husband and I went last night for the first time. The hibachi tables were packed to the brim causing the service on the other side of the restaurant to be very slow. The menu states you will get clear soup but they give you miso soup (ew). We ordered Edamame, it was OK - nothing special, and Gyoza - nothing special. We ordered two sushi rolls the lava roll and sweetheart roll. The lava roll was cut into sizes so big you would choke on it, but the sweetheart roll was fine. We ordered Hibachi as well but I was extremely disappointed in the "white sauce" which was very watery. It tasted like a horseradish sauce which is nothing like the traditional white sauce I normally get at a Japanese hibachi place. It was very potent and turned me off completely. Maybe this was an off night but I would try it for yourself and decide. I will not be visiting again.

Went here for the hibachi with several family members on a visit. The staff was very friendly and they always made themselves available for any customers needs. When we went there, one staff member even showed my child around the restaurant where they kept their koi/goldfish and fed them together after he was done eating. The hibachi chef himself also showed a party of teenagers a good time (I could tell by the noise) while we were present before doing the same for us. My only complaint would be that he used more so than I care to eat, but thats a personal preference so it doesnt really reflect the quality of food. It was also pretty well priced for the hibachi. Friendly staff, fairly priced for many courses of food, aesthetically pleasing, food was tasty (including the sushi). Try this one out.

Fall 2014 For years Ive been a steady customer of the East Windsor location and I recommend this as being one of the better restaurants in the suburban Trenton area. Overall quality is good; service very attentive; presentation is very eye appealing thus whets the appetite; prices are reasonable and edge out the competition when it comes to portions dished out. This is a family friendly restaurant. Seating layout ample thus no one bumps ones chair. SUGGESTION: While house dressing is okay please consider adding finely diced/minced ginger for zest. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Replace chipped dishes immediately (Ive been scratched by sharp edges); a booth or two may need a little TLC (one seat tends to shift and may be a hazard for children slipping off).

Weve been here many teams for family dinners. Weve done both hibachi and regular seating. The sushi options are good and you can sit at the sushi bar to see it prepared fresh. Obviously, hibachi is the big draw. They can get crowded on weekends or for special events (Mothers Day, etc). The chefs do a good job entertaining and preparing the food. You get soup, salad, and the entree which includes noodles, rice, veggies, and meat. It is about 20-30 depending on what you get but you get three courses and probably will take some home. Kids portions are a good value if you have little ones with you. Service is good and it is a nice space (including some TVs in case there is a game you dont want to miss). A good spot for sure.

Wait staff is superb!!! The waitress we had was very attentive and super friendly. We went to eat late at night and was worried about our toddler but she was having a blast and the waitress made it easier! The sushi chef was really friendly and nice too. The sushi rice here was delicious as well as the Sashimi. My daughter loved her hibachi and her portion was a lot. I would definitely recommend to visit and we will go again if in area!

Holy crowded lunch batman! This place is good but wait in line forever good? I think so. We also chose a Friday lunch to try this place so Im sure its a bit crazier. So you see the menu ahead of time and order when you get to the counter and then your food is delivered. If you want a margarita you have to order from the bartender. Prices seem reasonable (for the food- my margie was $10!) , and their menu is extensive.
