This bakery is seriously lacking in customer service skills. Their patties are good but the service sucks! You always spend a minimum of 10 minutes in there because the workers are slow. Now the reason they are getting one star is because of my experience with their cake. I called yesterday to say I wanted to place an order for a cake but I wanted to to buy a small slice first to make sure their cake is good. When I go there today, the lady asks me.... Lady: Why have you come so late for slices of cake?, we dont have any slices right now. Me: When I spoke with they guy on the phone yesterday, I told him I was coming in the afternoon (I understand once in a while you might not have a certain product but this is a bakery, if you sell cake, patties and bread, etc... you should be able to buy it anytime they are open...). Lady: We have a small cake for $6.00. Me: Okay, Ill take that. Tell me why she comes out with a regular round cake with no icing in a brown paper bag!!!!! Are you kidding me??? Me: Where is the icing?.... Lady: Mam you didnt ask for icing Me: Why would I have to ask for icing? Why would you sell the cake with no icing??? Lady: Not everyone likes icing....and you did not say you wanted icing Me: You cannot be serious......if I tell you I would like to buy a smaller cake to make sure its good before I place a big order, why would I have to ask you to put icing on it? Her: Yes we put icing on the big cakes but not the small cakes...... Wtfffff????? Aggravated is not the word!!!! A big waste of time!!! What type of bakery sells customers cake with no icing ???/ like reallyyyyyy??? My Haitian people, Im trying to support my people but why be so unprofessional in how you do your business........like really????? Again, what type of bakery sells cake with no icing?????? Apparently the one on South Orange Ave......grrrrrrhhhhhhhhh

Decent tasting patties, but terrible customer service/ management < Bulk buyers beware > 1. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. On multiple occasions theyve substituted my fish patties for meat without my consent. The offense itself would not be too bad if not for the fact that i DONT eat meat. 2. EXPECT TO WAIT 15-20 MINUTES FOR PHONE ORDERS. In five plus years, my order has been ready and waiting for me maybe once or twice and not once have i recieved an apology. The one time i show up an hour late for my order they sold half of my order to another customer. I drove five miles to pick up the patties, i wish someone had called to inform me that the patties would be/ had been sold, but i guess thats too much to ask. I drove five miles for nothing.
