Ive been a customer for several years and I agreed with some of the previous reviews where they said a few months ago the food was different, but you cant just criticize without letting them know right away at the restaurant. We stopped going for a couple of months (2 or 3 no more thanot that), but then we decided to return and were pleased with the same great sesoning. We love it =) Hemos sido clientes ya por varios años y estoy de acuerdo con algunos de los comentarios anteriores, en un punto hace cerca de un año el sabor característico del pollo principalmente. Pero en ese mismo momento se lo hicimos saber a la persona que nos atendió y nos dijo que apreciaba mucho que se lo dejaramos saber. Sin embrace, no regresamos como hasta después de unos dos o tres meses y nos agradamos al ver que el saborcito habia regresado. No se puede sólo criticar un restaurante sin hacer nada más. Muchos de ellos se levantan con mucho esfuerzo. Muchas gracias x deleitarnos con su cocina =)

My husband and I went to this place because we love Peruvian food and the ratings were great, however, although we went once, the food was dull and tasteless. We began with salchipapa, typically made with a pink sauce. The menu described the sauce came with the sauce but it didnt, we were given the ingredients to make it ourselves. We also ordered the beef lomo saltado and it lacked seasoning as well as the sauce that is customarily made with it. The dish seemed like it was cooked in a rush. I make this dish at home and my experience here was not good, the food was dry and just not good. As far as service our server was not attentive, we couldnt find him and did not see him again after he toon our order. Obviously this doesnt attest to the rest of the other waiters, but with our waiter, it wasnt good.

I love the food that they serve here. Food are freshly serve and delicious. It was amazing how they serve the food because they serve fast and not only fast but also very delicious. I really enjoy going at this place because not only the food taste awesome but also the people that preparing the foods are also nice and clean. They are all very kindly and approachable. Very professional when it comes with their duty and obligations as a service crew. The place is also very nice and clean and you will really feel comfortable once you are inside the restaurant. You can bring your families and friends when you go here and it is really affordable and the food is simple awesome. Great service!

One of our favorites... Were here every week. Very popular local place, extremely family friendly and can get raucous with loads of kids and laughter Friday though Sunday. We stick to whats on the sign... Spit roasted chicken with their amazing spicy green sauce. Note that side dishes are very limited... Weve found this in most Peruvian restaurants. Guessing vegetables are just not prevalent in that cousine. That would be the only knock we could give this, but it does not keep us away!

Roasted chicken is delicious and tender. We loved the dipping sauce it came with. The prices are very affordable. We always get the whole roasted chicken which feeds 2 kids and 2 adults. We want to try the other items in the menu since it is a Peruvian style restaurant. The seafood deep fried medley was too oily so I wouldnt get that again but it tasted OK. From the outside the restaurant doesnt look that great but is very cozy and clean inside.

This place is the best place Ive eaten some Peruvian rotisserie chicken at and their other great sides that come with it. Its the best place to be and to have a good time. Who ever hasnt eaten here, your missing out on a lot of AMAZING FOOD. Id like to give a shout out to my second family; The Mendozas. I will definitely visit soon and the new place looks WOW I mean WOW. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great plate of food.

Used to be a good spot but no more. They dont season the chicken the peruvian way anymore, the arroz chaufa is terrible and bland, and the ceviche is fishy and overdone, as if they let the fish sit in lemon overnight. Service is better than the past. This place sells peruvian dishes but they are in no way done properly anymore. I wonder if the owner is the same.

The Best Rotisserie Chicken i have had in New Jersey !!! They place is always crowded but you can always Take away ! All my Friends that I have Recommended the place love it !!! Spanish Rice, Chicken & that GREEN SAUCE is the best combination. Lately the Owner is being an A$$ by Charging extra for the Green Sauce. Other than that Great place! Good Ceviche too.

Only giving two stars because they were courteous. Ordered the papa a la huancaina and it was tasteless. You can tell it was already prepared and just sitting on the side. My boyfriend ordered the lomo and it was also tasteless. As for I, I ordered the chaufa and it could have used more seasoning and fried better. Definitely not worth a $48 check.

This place is consistently good. The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh and well prepared. I would like the portions to be a little more satisfying. I brought other friends and they have also stated how much they enjoy the food. A recommendation would be the rotisserie chicken special. It is enough for 4 people.

Good value place. Authentic Peruvian flavors. Good service. Portions are generous. This is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants in NJ. I like the cebiche, the parihuela and of course pollo a la brasa. Caution, at times, the place is very crowded and of course, service speed takes a hit.

The service was horrible. The portions were too small and the prices too high for the little bit of food they serve. My 2 year old could eat an entire order by his self. First and last time I will go there. Plus, the guy from the register was very nasty and smart mouth. Hated it!

i love to eat and i especially love to eat good food! and planet chicken has the best chicken i have ever had - by far. I lived in nyc for 5 years and never came close to eating chicken as good as this. and their ceviche is not half bad either. do yourselves a favor and go.

I have been a resident of Dunellen for over 15 yrs and have been coming here since it opened. I can tell you as a consistent customer the food has always been fantastic. People may have had a bad day before writing their review because I wouldnt give any less than 5 stars.

Fifteen dollars for one spoon of rice is ridiculous. It is too pricy and not that great. The servers where rude and need edicute. One of the servers where standing talking to a couple while he had multiple tables waiting.
